Hey yall, I recently got another camera because I’ve been drawn to how vibrant and bright Canon models bring so say hello to my new IXY 610F :3 I’m figuring out the settings but I really like how vintage-y and soft the photos come out along with the warmth of the skin it brings! 10/10 worth bargaining with a Japanese man on EBay for 🫡

It had been a little while since Chris had an s-chassis - a while spent reflecting.

Wrecking a car means losing a lot of things...

Time. Money. A part of your identity is gone. You can go back to being a regular person, and you can indulge in life for a bit. Learn to balance your hobbies and your everyday life. Go to some live shows, touch grass, eat pizza, get depressed, whatever. You can even save some money! You can really live, laugh, love.

In small, controlled doses, that’s fine. Time can heal the bruised ego and heartbreak of a wreck. When you don’t have a car, there isn’t any pressure to show up and show out for events. You’re not worrying about the car anymore. You’re a regular person.

But a regular person in traffic?

Nah. That gets old fast.

So about a month after crashing his first car, Chris had a non-running, grubby, red, central-valley spec s13 in his driveway. A willing Frankenstein, ready to be revived from the carcass of the white car.

Time-skip. 5 months later. Peak California hellhole summer heat type shi. Fate chose a
110-degree day for Chris and Brandon to finish swapping the SR into the red shell, and getting that engine in became a beacon of light. It was back to car life. Back to having your wages garnished by a creaky, geriatric s-chassis again. Your identity is complete again.

Balance in all things is important, and having no car seemed pretty unbalanced. Anyone who’s ever had an s-chassis will tell you - having one in your life is better than not having one.
