•
•
« How Much Is The Quiche?
Tip!💫

Founded by James Holden in 2003, Border Community became one of electronic music’s most distinctive labels, blurring the lines between progressive house, techno, electronica and psychedelia.

Defined by experimentation, intricate arrangements and emotive soundscapes, the label developed a singular identity, bringing together unconventional productions that challenged genre conventions while retaining a strong connection to the dancefloor.

We look back at some of the label’s essential tracks, highlighting the distinctive sound, creative vision and lasting influence that have made its catalogue such an important part of electronic music.

1. Nathan Fake - The Sky Was Pink (Holden Remix)
2. Extrawelt - Soopertrack
3. Fairmont - Gazebo
4. Petter - Some Polyphony
5. Lazy Fat People - Dark Water
6. Nathan Fake - Outhouse (Main Mix)
7. Holden - A Break In The Clouds (Main Mix)
8. The MFA - The Difference It Makes
9. Luke Abbott - Melody 120
10. Nathan Fake - Your Are Here (Four Te Remix)
