One year ago, my friend @manssjogren and I stood on the summit of Himlung Himal 7126m before skiing down its untouched slopes.

Together with our friends @sarki_sherpa and @gelmo2000 , we opened up the mountain that season. It was an experience filled with fear, trust, exhaustion, and moments of pure joy an adventure that changed us and that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Now, one year later, I’m back in Nepal, returning to the same mountain once again. Everything feels familiar, yet somehow completely different. This time, I won’t be climbing in alpine style or skiing down its slopes. I want have @manssjogren or @gelmo2000 with me.

Instead, @sarki_sherpa and I will be there to support our friend @robtob_02 on his journey. To share the mountain from a different perspective, to be there through the difficult moments, and to help him reach his goal.

I’m grateful to be back, grateful for the friendships this mountain has given me, and deeply curious about what awaits us this time.
