As I spend this week in a gorgeous resort in Greece today marks 10 years @ey3media - I have mostly kept a private profile where I share family pics but I thought I should probably set up one to share more of my professional life. It’s hard to believe that a decade has passed since @itsnikad and I started building EY3 Media from the ground up. Over those 10 years, we’ve experienced the highest highs and the lowest lows that come with growing a business. Moments of struggle, moments of success, and everything in between. Sometimes not knowing if any of this would really be worth it. Alongside the growth of the business, my own life has changed significantly too. Becoming a mum to two amazing children which has brought me love and happiness like I could never have imagined, but it has also brought challenges that many working parents will understand. Balancing the demands of being a mum and a businesswoman is not always easy, and to this day still is one of the hardest journeys I have to navigate. Where you show up in one place often means you’re lacking in another, really as much as I try I can’t be everything every day. Today, while on holiday with my family, I woke up feeling anxious about work and interesting as it coincides with this milestone. Really it’s a reminder that when you care deeply about what you do, there isn’t really an off switch. The business is always there in the back of your mind, and the responsibility of this is always there. At the same time, being on holiday with my kids often reminds me of our life and how lucky I am. It allows me to be reflective and come back refreshed with ideas on where we go next, but also reminds me there really isn’t ever an off button. Would I want it any other way? Probably not. I’m so grateful to everyone who has been part of the EY3 Media journey over the last 10 years colleagues, clients, partners, friends and family. Thank you to everyone who has been part of that journey giving support, trust and belief along the way. And really we haven’t even started yet. Here’s to the next chapter (well after some relaxation time - if we can….)

OrthTeam Unplugged, Episode 3: Back Pain & Sciatica 🎥 Another enjoyable sit down with specialists from OrthTeam Centre. This time with Spinal Neurosurgeon, John Leach and Pain Consultant, Nick Fraser. My three takeaways: Patient centred care is at the absolute forefront. Great communication and putting the client at ease. Team work between consultants is paramount at OTC. Both guys passion, compassion and enthusiasm for their profession. I hope I don’t need to see either of them in a professional capacity, but I know I would be in great hands if I do! Thanks again to Shruti for organising so well and EY3 Media for the great hospitality and top facilities. Looking forward to the next pod with Mike Hayton and David White.

Today I’m proud to release LISA - a music-led short film created to raise awareness of domestic abuse in the UK. Brought to life with the incredible female-led team at @EY3Media and @BadMedicRecords ,LISA is a fictional story, but it reflects the real experiences of far too many women.
