Out of all the magazines in the world, we never imagined one day we would see our work featured in @people Magazine!

I still remember my 8 year old self standing in line at London Drugs and flipping through People at the cashier, reading about celebrities and iconic brands. It always felt so far away from the lives that we lived.

So when they reached out asking to feature one of our weddings, it honestly felt surreal! Like a pinch us moment ✨

To see our work recognized on a platform we grew up seeing in grocery store aisles means more than we can put into words.

So grateful. So humbled. And so proud of all the couples who trust us with their most meaningful days.

Thank YOU for believing in us! 🤍

This piece is about the troubled mind.
And the trouble of the mind.

About the lonely, quiet, heavy space between overwhelm and action.

I’ve witnessed people I love stand at that edge - in friends, in family - where everything feels too loud, too dark, too much.

This is not about glamorizing that place.
It’s about acknowledging it.
About saying… you are not alone.

The liminal space.
The void that can feel consuming.
The moment where relief can feel dangerously close.

But even there - within the weight and complexity -
love is not far, even if it is a whisper.
There is light, even if it feels distant.

This is my attempt to give form to what is often kept silent - even when the internal call for help feels like a scream.

And this silence is not rare.
It lives quietly across our society.

If this subject is tender for you, please move gently.

And if you are struggling, you are not meant to carry that weight alone.

The deepest shadows are cast by the brightest light. 🪷

To feel & express grief broke me open.

In that space my heart grew.

I came in contact with my depth.

With my brother I never really knew.

Your love became my breath.

Thank you, Ben.

Why do I love to paint flowers with eyes? 🪷👁️🌹

Hmm…perhaps because I do not feel seen.

Or, I believe that all nature beholds and sees even without eyes.

Or, I believe the eye of a divine loving essence flows through every natural thing.

Or, I believe the beauty we see in flowers is only possible to the degree we find beauty within.

Or, I believe that nature sees through us and perhaps it is judging, perhaps it is non judgmental.

Or, I believe the evil eye is in contrast to the eye of Gaia in all of nature.

Or, I love the beauty of eyes and the beauty of flowers so why not mash em up.

Or, as a quiet traumatized and scared child I found sanctuary and healing in nature and felt seen and understood without words or judgement.

Or I believe the eye represents the quantum field and the flower the blooming of possibility into reality.

Or… all the above

Or none of it at all

Or something else.

I do know I find a beauty and awe when I look at flowers and eyes that is beyond words that can only be deeply and viscerally felt.

So why not honor that which leaves me in awe through a form of my own unique expression.

And who knows, perhaps someone will see my pieces and question why they love to honor something through their own unique flavor - and laugh, because the world will be all the more beautiful through their expression, even if they never tell anyone why they did it.

This piece was emotional to create. 🫶🏽

A reminder that family isn’t always blood.
It’s bond.
It’s choice.
It’s friends — and sometimes even strangers — who meet you when you feel alone
and welcome you home.

It’s the sea of waves that rises to hold you.

We are all adopted into moments, into communities, into love that chooses us just as we are.

Who makes you feel at home? 🌊

I spent years trying to grow out of the version of me I felt ashamed of.

What I learned is that self awareness rooted in shame becomes self rejection. And empathy built from survival turns into people pleasing.

The real shift happened when I stopped trying to fix myself and started meeting the part of me that was just hurt.

If you’ve been growing, healing, optimizing… but still feel like you’re not enough, maybe it’s not about becoming someone new.

Maybe it’s about coming home to who you’ve always been.

‘Who are you?’ — Hilda

On their wedding day, while they were taking couple pictures, a butterfly landed on Nick’s back…and as he turned around to show Hilda, she reached out her hand and the butterfly gently landed on her finger.

‘Who are you?’ whispered Hilda.

This is so beautiful 🥰I got teary watching this ….someone from their soul family really wanted to be at their wedding , but couldn’t, so they came as a butterly to bless this sacred day for Hilda and Nick ❤️

Hilda has always been a special little sister to me since we grew up together in our Buddhist Youth Group. She has this ‘light’, this ‘aura’ that it’s impossible to ignore….you could feel her presence even before you see her or hug her…her presence radiates calmness and gentle energy.

Hilda talked about mindfulness, peace, spirituality even before I knew what they were….she might be younger than me in age, but prolly a thousand year old soul compared to mine ❤️

Today, she posted on FB ‘ When our photographers reached out to us and asked our permission if it’s ok to be covered on people mag of course we said yes!
What a start 2026! 😎

Congrats Nick and Hilda, sending you guys lots of love and hugs and 1001 years of happiness 🌈❤️
