For me, hosting this event was about fulfilling my promise to Raul, he was family but more importantly he was a friend who guided me through my teenage years and helped me find my identity. At the time of his passing Raul requested that I help my Tia with his remaining bike and bike parts for sale, as well as keeping his memory alive, like in the movie Coco “Remember me”, which I agreed to without hesitation. Reliving memories through his belongings has been tough, but it was a necessary step in my grieving process. I'll always cherish his memory and uphold the values he taught me about integrity and holding yourself accountable. Race 4 Raul isn’t done yet so stayed tuned for our next chapter. 😌😏😤#race4raul Lastly, thank you to everyone who contributed, donated, participated, shared my posts, tolerated my craziness!!! I can’t thank you all enough family and friends. You all came and showed out and I won’t forget that🙏🏼 I’m here to be apart of the community and support one another, and those of you who showed up embraced that to the fullest ‼️
