I’d like to give a shout out to my friends at Yamaha for making me the first artist in Japan to own the brand new Cordoba Stage Artist! I’ve been playing the Cordoba Stage guitar for about a year now and although I enjoyed playing the instrument, I always wondered when or if they were gonna come out with a higher grade version and now in 2026 as of July 29th It’s finally out in Japan. I must say the inlays and details on this piece is astonishing. Right off the shelf you do have to do a bit of adjusting on the nut and bridge, neck, etc., but the weight, playability and most of all the sound has improved quite a bit. The tension on the strings are what I would expect on a well-made nylon acoustic guitar and a more sturdy instrument than the Stage had provided. I’m certain I’ll get a few more of these in the future! Thanks again, Cordoba!! 2026/7/30
