TONIGHT 6-9pm ⭐ Artist Talk starts 7pm!!!! Last chance to see "Inherited Reflections" and hear the artists speak about their work!

Inherited Reflections is a three person exhibition with works by Frida Hernandez Aguila, Carla Santillana and Fernanda Quezada. These artists examine the generational knowledge held within their families by exploring their stories, emotions and culture. Through this exploration the artists question what is truly inherited and what has formed their identity?

Through Playful and somber imagery the artists depict concepts of emotions being passed down through generations and deep connections between past and present.
Reflecting on these ideas and the search of identity the artists find themselves both healing themselves from the past and celebrating their ancestry.

You know I love finding places that are more than they seem. 💗

@casapinktx on San Antonio’s South Side isn’t just a coffee shop...behind the pink house you’ll find an art studio, gallery, and print shop where artists are still creating the old-school way.

Definitely another Door Within the Door for my little series. 🚪

📍 144 Zapata, South Side, San Antonio

It took a village to make this come together! Thank you to all the artists, Paz, and everyone who helped me make this possible :)

I hope this sets precedence and proof that we’ll create our own opportunities and spaces, and bring each other along❤️
