I’m so excited to be heading back to the First Coast Nutcracker this year! 🩰🎄🩰

I’m so happy to have been selected as an Angel again and can’t wait to be back on stage with the @jaxsymphony for another Nutcracker season. Last year was such a special experience, and I’m so excited that I get to do it all over again!

Even better, I get to spend another season with my Angel friends Ella and Sofia, and welcome Michael to the First Coast Nutcracker family for his first year! ❤️

Some weekends leave footprints on your heart forever🩷

Watching Lulu train, perform, learn, and grow this weekend at 24 SEVEN Dance Convention @24sevendance was something truly special. From crowded convention rooms (over 225 MINIS!!!) to the #competition stage, every moment reminded us why she loves this art form so much.

So grateful for the teachers who inspire these dancers to dream bigger — especially the opportunity to learn from artists like Francisco Gella @franciscogelladance ✨

The memories, the teammates, the energy, the growth… all of it means everything.

Not every performance is about a trophy.

This weekend, Lulu took the stage with her solo “Peace Somehow” after being awake for over 12 hours and competing all day… and she still gave everything she had.

Was it her strongest technically? No.
Was it one of her most powerful? Without a doubt.

Because this piece was never just about steps.
It was about feeling.
About storytelling.
About leaving a piece of herself on that stage.

And she did exactly that.

The judges may not have placed her in the overalls… but that doesn’t take away from what happened in that moment.

When strangers come up to her and say they were moved…
That they felt something…
That they’re still thinking about it…

That’s something no score can measure.

That’s art.

And that night, Lulu was an artist. 🤍

Lulu has been having so much fun performing with her #hiphop group this season. Hip-hop doesn’t come naturally to her, but I think she’s grown a lot in this genre this year ☺️ A big thank you to @trentshake for giving Lulu the opportunity to be a part of this super fun #groupdance 🫶 She has loved every minute!

… I remember when…. Lulu had so much fun dancing at the @tremainedance convention 💥

We’ve had lots of friends ask how Lulu did at this comp 👉🏻 She and her team @f13rceelitetraining did wonderfully!! Lulu only competed her group dances at this comp. No solo and no trio, as our team was limited on entries. At first, we were kind of bummed that she wouldn’t get to compete these here, but honestly it worked out for the best. Why❓👇🏼

Convention + Competition weekends are so busy and so draining. These dancers start classes at 7:30am, go straight to competition schedule in the afternoon, where they often compete until after 9pm. Rinse and Repeat for Day 2 😱 ….

SO- it was actually a nice break to only do the group dances this time around. Plus, it meant she had time to hang at the hotel pool and go out to eat with her teammates. Team down time and bonding is so important for these hard working young dancers! 💞
