When does transformation and growth happen?

Only in moments where we are out of our comfort zone, frustrated, angry or sad, when we think we don’t have the answers or knowledge but then suddenly realize that we have a choice to do it differently & make the conscious effort to do so.
By persevering, showing up and pushing through no matter what obstacle is in front of us!

I knew you were a challenge the moment I laid my eyes on you, I know it’s not going to be an easy journey but not once in my life I have ever chosen the easy route.

I named you Fénix after the mystical bird Phoenix who are always reborn from their own ashes as a more evolved, enlightened version of itself.
Representing freedom, growth, courage, kindness, reliability and duality.
Continually morphing and remorphing, the phoenix represents the idea that the end is only the beginning & the journey to heal yours & others inner & outer beauty is the path to ultimate enlightenment, freedom & peace.

I truly believe we were destined to be on this journey together & every day you are challenging me and teaching me so much, my love. From the first week of not allowing anyone to touch you to now asking for head scratches & loving bath time sessions from me is already so adorable & I thank you for trusting me, believing in us.

Did you know Fénix was born black and he turned into this beautiful white horse? When the sun is shining on his coat he has a beautiful silver shimmer which is so majestic...
I love how inquisitive, intelligent, naughty, funny and brave you are.

I hope to be the most incredible life partner for you & never let you down.

We did it! 💫
Our first 40km race together ❤️
So proud of my baby boy, he was nervous, didn’t know what to expect but he simply had so much trust in me and turned to me for reassurance before reacting to anything… thank you for believing in me, trusting me and giving me so much love & respect. We were the true definition of what it means to be a team and to be one in complete synchronicity.

I thank God & you Fènix for showing me that even if I don’t have all the answers or experience that if I continue to believe, trust & keep showing up, that anything is possible. 🦄

Thanking absolutely everyone who has been such an incredible support on our journey! We couldn’t of done it without you 🤗🥰🙏🏼

“What would you like to do if money were no object? How would you really enjoy spending your life?”

This sentence kept ringing in my ear after listening to a track from from Alan Watts a few years ago, before I decided to quit my Corporate job. One of the inspirations I received in actually quitting my job 🤗

Furthermore to those words that really hit me hard Alan said “ Well, it’s so amazing as a result of our kind of educational system, crowds of students say well, we’d like to be painters, we’d like to be poets, we’d like to be writers, but as everybody knows you can’t earn any money that way. Or another person says well, *I’d like to live an out-of-doors life and ride horses. I said you want to teach in a riding school?* Let’s go through with it. What do you want to do? When we finally got down to something, which the individual says he really wants to do, I will say to him, you do that and forget the money, because, if you say that getting the money is the most important thing, you will spend your life completely wasting your time. You’ll be doing things you don’t like doing in order to go on living, that is to go on doing things you don’t like doing, which is stupid. *Better to have a short life that is full of what you like doing* than a long life spent in a miserable way.

So grateful to be living my best life… a decade ago I thought I had to be a multi-millionaire to have the life I have now. It’s incredible how with so much less we can have so much more.

Thank you Universe for always giving me the strength and courage to continually listen to my heart ❤️ I am forever grateful for your guidance and for those around me who support me on all my decisions.

How are you choosing to be truly present this Eid?

After a month of looking inward, today is a beautiful reminder to share that inner light with those around us. As we move from the introspection of fasting into the joy of celebration, take a moment to slow down, breathe deeply, and fully arrive in each moment.

The real gift isn’t the food or the gifts, it’s the connection. Connection to yourself, to your loved ones, and to the community that holds you.

May your day be filled with laughter, meaningful moments, and hearts full of gratitude.
