I used to think progress meant doing more. More ideas. More planning. More research. More “working.” Some of my biggest delays weren’t because I lacked talent or opportunity. They came from trying to give everything my attention at once and from spending too much time looking at what everyone else was building instead of trusting what I had been given to build. Learning to PRIORITIZE changed the way I built. Learning to STOP comparing changed the way I SAW what I was building. I hope these reflections help someone move forward with a little more clarity than I had. What’s one lesson you’ve learned the hard way?

Every brand has a story. This month, I’m sharing mine. For the next 13 days, I’m inviting you behind the vision that became F8TH. Not just the wins, but the moments, decisions, and convictions that shaped this journey. F8TH has never been just about clothing. It’s about creating reminders for people who refuse to give up on the vision they’re building or who they’re becoming. July 13 is my birthday. This year, I wanted to celebrate differently. Instead of making the moment about me, I decided to make it about you. Welcome to Founder’s Month. A Celebration of Vision.

💖 Last night, I showed up @pinkawardsshow and not just to attend, but to cover the moment & to represent my mom @sdt1968 who’s a Breast Cancer survivor. 🎥✨ The Pink Awards at the @official.raycharles Performing Arts Center was a whole EXPERIENCE. From honoring powerhouse women like @courtneyadeleye @iamlisacunningham @pinkycole @officialdhayes and darlenemccoy, to celebrating icon honoree @ceelogreen every second was a reminder of what happens when excellence is recognized in real time. Hosted by @brelyevans & @iamjonathanslocumb, the energy in the room? Unmatched. And yes, I made sure to capture it all…the looks, the vibes, the conversations, the presence. Because this is what I do. I don’t just go… I document, I highlight, I amplify. Special thanks to @askaprillove @itzbentleydidier & @mediagirlsnetwork for making this happen and for putting me in the room! If your brand, your event, or your moment needs that kind of intentional visibility just know, I’m ready to show up to capture -> captivate. 💁🏽‍♀️🎀 @f8thcollection @lovelipsbyalgebrab #PinkAwards #EventCoverage #AtlantaEvents #eventrecap #photographer

🙌🏾 I just received a sample for @f8thcollection I’ve been working on!! I probably shouldn’t share this yet, but I don’t care! 🤣 I’m too excited and this is a WIN! Not because it’s perfect, but because I remember the moments I almost stopped. The prayers. The pivots. The discipline it took to keep going when quitting felt easier. Staying faithful to the process matters. And today feels like confirmation that it was worth it! More to come tomorrow, but for now, I’m enjoying this moment!!
