~Where Flowers Blooms. Is a two-year art project I’m working on, highlighting beauty and celebrating women from different cultural backgrounds. I wanted these photos to reflect that the element of adding flowers isn’t just flowers to me; they symbolize beauty, growth, and presence, qualities I see in women. The flowers throughout the shoot allow me to bring that symbolism to life and create artwork that honors both the muses and the meaning behind my imagery. This will also connect to my Floral Collection! Eventually!

And I want to give thanks to my models and my other photographer for helping with this project! ❤️🌸

with @iblnkd, and their theme of folklore.

This looks was inspired with stories associated with my heritage and woven together to create a cumulative look. As someone with German and Indian heritage, I chose to represent Rapunzel, a well-known folktale associated with German origins, with aspects of my Indian culture.

Rapunzel is written with long golden hair and healing tears. From jasmine flowers in my braid to the hundreds of gold details in my garments and jewelry, I chose to portray a common folktale that is significant to me with a blend of my own cultures.
