Cette sortie a été l'occasion de les féliciter pour leur engagement, leur persévérance et leur réussite tout au long de leur formation.

En cassant la marmite, le groupe PLR marque symboliquement son attachement à l’histoire de la République et à la continuité du travail politique mené pour Genève. Un moment qui rappelle à tous l’importance de son engagement au service de notre canton.

🇳🇵Manaslu expedition more pics of an incredible adventure with @14peaksexpedition 💙 I’ve been going through more of my videos & photos, it’s hard to think this was not even a month ago!

My summit with my lead Senior Sherpa & beautiful friend @sona_8848.86 who also managed Basecamp & made my climb a success & together with my best buddy @phurkitarsherpa who always has my back, makes me laugh & been there from the start, then Lakpa Gelu my third assistant Sherpa who’s strength & taking up my oxygen for me & supplies a few trips up & back is just a man of kindness, strength & knowledge.

These incredible super strong Sherpas made sure I didn’t die as it’s not a game up there it’s always risk of death with avalanches, crevasses, altitude sickness & you have to have a team that makes it work & to make sure nothing can go wrong, well things in your control anyway.

Don’t let all the pretty pictures online fool you it truly can be hard work to climb & be so high. The risk of frostbite, the cold thin air & heights hanging off ice walls & keeping each others spirits high as many people men and woman can get a bit emotional, teary, exhausted & tired. There’s fun to with laughter, dancing, singing just so much great fun among us all to keep smiling through the pain of sore muscles, lack of sleep & sometimes thirst as liquid freezes that high.

Expeditions you meet many people in your company or others & I have met a lot of different people from different countries & cultures. Some wonderful friendships formed & plans made together, reconnecting on different expeditions is always fun & there’s so much love & joy shared also mountaineering stories, advice, inspiration & support which is appreciated by all.

Coming from Sydney Australia & living in French Alps as well traveling so much everywhere, it’s been life changing visiting Nepal so much to the point it feels like & becoming my third home with some big plans ahead. The people there & the country is so beautiful, the food is amazing as the peaks.

I have more still & wanted to post of a climb high in the Heavenly Himalayas of Manaslu the mountain of spirit. Happy Diwali 🪔 Namaslay🙏🏼love Jo Didi❤️‍🔥🏔️🧗🏽‍♀️💫

Training Day for our Manaslu 2025 Autumn Expedition!

Today, the 14 Peaks Expedition team took part in a technical training session led by @migmar95_sirdar, one of the Himalayas’ most skilled and experienced young Sherpas.

From mastering climbing techniques to ropework, and practicing safe ascending and descending, every step is preparing our climbers for the ultimate challenge ahead—summiting Mt. Manaslu.

This is more than just training—it’s about building confidence, and the skills needed to move safely and successfully in the high mountains.
