If you were hurt in church, you should not be pressured to pretend it did not happen. Truth is Jesus is not the wound people gave you. You are welcome to explore Him again at your pace. This is an invitation to join us ❤️❤️

We just ended “The Believer’s forgiveness” series please go check it out on our YouTube channel. #Forgiveness is not primarily something you do; forgiveness is the expression of who you have become in #Christ.
We don’t forgive for acceptance.
We forgive from acceptance. #believerscity

Introducing THE BELIEVER’S WORSHIP. 🙌🏾

A new worship expression of Believer’s City, built on one conviction:

We don’t worship to become; we worship because of who we are in Christ.

WORSHIP FROM IDENTITY IN CHRIST.
— 1 Peter 2:9

Many believers know they are forgiven, but still live as though they must earn God’s acceptance.

The Gospel didn’t rescue us into another system of performance.

It brought us into a family.

The Holy Spirit doesn’t produce fear of God but He reveals God as Father.

A slave works for acceptance.

A son lives from acceptance.

The difference changes everything: how we pray, obey, worship, serve, and even how we see ourselves.

If your relationship with God is driven more by fear than by faith, perhaps it’s time to ask whether you’ve been living with a slave mentality instead of a son’s identity.

You’re not trying to earn a seat at the Father’s table.

In Christ, you already have one.

“For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, ‘Abba, Father.’” Romans 8:15

You can be strong… and still fall
If your ground is weak. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only Ground for the believer.
