Thank you, @castlefest 😍Letting all visitors try out an instrument for themselves for three whole days remains one of the most fun things there is.

Perhaps it might sound a bit like a hell of a noise, but what we hear are people trying out the instrument they love, for the very first time 🥰 Perhaps its the instrument they’ve always wanted to try… Because where else can you try out these instruments? You can still try a piano or a violin at a music school… but a hurdy-gurdy, bagpipes, accordion, or nyckelharpa?

Every musician (even those who perform on the biggest stages) once held their instrument for the very first time.... Do you remember the moment you held the instrument you love for the very first time? It was magical! And we got to experience that for three whole days… and that feels like a huge honour and true privilege 😇

We had so much fun :-) and it was great so many bands came to visit us and play at our instrument te-out sessions: thank to @fabella.folk @cardboardcabin @datura_medieval_music @vlier_balfolk duo @bert_leemans & @philipmasure @keltenzondergrenzen @amongthesaints and all musicians who joined our orchestra for the Balfolk on Sunday

And of course the biggest thank you to @rivennah @femkevanhilten @markvanderstelt and all vana & volunteers to make this magical festival happen: its awesome!
