Our thoughts of alcohol in fitness. Yes we all drink. It’s rough if you work at a bar or in the food industry

Damian : I think Gen Z is the generation that’s consuming alcohol the least because we understand that’s it’s not the healthiest thing to consume. Yes there are other vices that Gen Z uses. Alcohol is a Group 1 Carcinogen and has no benefits to your health. But it is fun on occasions so I wouldn’t tell anyone to quit drinking it. I’d definitely suggest to not make a habit to regularly consume it if fitness is a priority to you because it can throw routine off if there is a lack of structure or environment where your other good habits thrive. Alcohol is a variable I take into consideration before I drink it: Such as drinking hella electrolytes and waters all night. Yes I bother the bar about rounds of water. I’m aware that my next day if I’m not hydrated or feeling the hottest of where that came from. I’ve definitely had days where I felt like it was a “waste.” It’s fun to drink and dance with my lady though. Quit the wall flowering like a creep. If I had to put a number on how often I indulge about 4 times every 2 months. A drink or two on one of those nights.

Bunny : If you were to drink alcohol once a week for a year, you’d make far less progress compared to if you were to be sober for a year.

Fabian : Alcohol on special occasions is cool like group gatherings or socializing. Solo drinking makes no sense especially if you’re getting no play.
