Kiki, kittens, and Coral Charms 🌸

We know how much you love kittens, so we’re bringing a few more little balls of fluff to your feed today, accompanied by a generous gathering of peonies, of course!

We had the sweetest girl on earth visiting the farm, loving on our little fur babies and these vibrant Coral Charm peonies. Meet Kiki, the gifted creative behind @narrativephotocompany ! I first crossed paths with Kiki at one of @theruralsociety antique sales where she was wearing the most darling vintage Gunne Sax dress. I simply had to say hello! Fast forward to today, and her company is just as lovely as her style.

A delightful note for the flower lovers: the Coral Charm peonies pictured here are technically well past their peak. Yet, we were absolutely astonished by how beautifully they held their vibrant color in the cooler, staying completely unwrapped in a simple bucket for over two months!

If you have been longing to add the magic of coral peonies to your own garden collection, do keep a close eye on our page. We shall be offering up some coral rarities for sale in the near future!

She holds the tiny gray-and-white kitten up toward her face, admiring it with a gentle smile, while the little orange kitten explores the woven straw basket of pink peonies at her side.

Peony season came early this year so these two have been hard at work over at @fablesfarms

I’m so glad that at the end of this rainy month I finally got to get out and shoot. Last night I spent the evening roaming the farm and following these two and their pups around their property. Can’t wait to share more dreamy shots💛

Follow @fablesfarms if you love peonies, gorgeous photos, history, and a bit of whimsy✨

'Peony sprouts' - New painting (Available)

Peonies are stunningly beautiful flowers and on Fable Farms (@fablesfarms ) they specialize in them. Currently many of them are sprouting, I love the whimsical, floating shape of their dancing stems and opening bloossoms. A rather expressionistic painting style appeared appropriate to paint this scene, with the beautiful barn in the back that somehow shares the colors of the peonies.
The last photo shows the humble status of my peonies in our backyard.

Another Inspirational photo VS my photo (swipe to see my photo)

Before one of my visits to @hidden.springs.peony.farm , Laura sent me this inspirational photo from @fablesfarms for us to try to recreate while I was there.

Laura gathered a perfect bouquet of peonies and found an amazing spot to use as our backdrop for her photo, and off we went.

One thing I wish I could have captured was the amazing smell of the peonies to share with you!
