Building a rear fender for a @westcoastchoppers DOMINATOR build. -Fender is 8.50” wide with a 3.5” crown. -Material is .065” copper sheet. -Radius is formed by shrinking the edge with thumbnail dies on a K90 dual head Yoder. -Parts are planished on a 12.00” Chicago Pneumatic planning hammer. -It’s such a pleasure to form parts to precision dimensions with a wood buck made by Alex & Alix at the shop. -Part will finished welded and mounted and trimmed and edged then blocked sanded and polished. - I’m moving on to front fender tomorrow. #jessejames

Hammering away! Thank you Hans @pettingellmachineco for sending us the spring compressor/belting tool/and advice that we needed to replace the #BalataBelt on the #Yoder #Powerhammer As you can see in pic 4 the original belt had seen better days.
