we came a long way since that day. since 2022 when @makeupmembers was once just a makeup lesson library. now we are a connecting community for over 260 makeup artists every month. forever grateful to @patmcgrathreal and @pradabeauty teams for welcoming us to your beauty world. @facedesigneruk thank you for sharing your knowledge and passion for makeup. @dannymortonmakeup thank you for sharing red carpet tips and tricks and thank you @makeupmembers for flying and traveling for a day from all over the world. memories made for life 🪽

I’ve only been part of Make Up Members Academy for a couple of months, but what a journey it has already been. ❤️
And the funny thing is, my story with the academy actually started long before I joined.
Years ago, I remember watching its founder, Gabriele, on the Lithuanian TV show Nuo… Iki… and thinking, “Wow, what an incredible woman. Maybe one day I’ll get to meet her in person.”
Little did I know what life had planned for me. 🥹
Fast forward to today, and not only have I had the opportunity to meet her, but I’ve also become part of the academy she created.
And then came Prada. Pat McGrath. And Peter. ❤️
Seeing @facedesigneruk in person was genuinely one of my biggest dreams. I’ve admired his artistry for so long, and suddenly something that once felt so far away was happening right in front of me.
But there was one moment at the Prada masterclass that I don’t think I’ll ever forget.
I was sitting there, looking around the room, with tears building up in my eyes. I felt this overwhelming sense of gratitude. @dannymortonmakeup
Because I knew exactly what it had taken for me to get there.
Behind the makeup artist is a SEN mum, a woman who has spent years putting everyone else first, trying to balance motherhood, responsibilities and a dream that she refused to let go of.
And there I was. Not just watching other people live those experiences. I was finally living one myself.
For some, it might have been just another masterclass. For me, it was a reminder of how far I’ve come and how much further I still want to go.
That’s what Make Up Members Academy has given me in just a couple of months. Not only incredible education and opportunities, but the feeling that I belong in rooms I once only dreamed of entering.
To Gabriele and everyone behind the academy, thank you for creating something that means so much more than makeup education.
You may not even realise how much these opportunities mean to women like me, who are trying to build a future while carrying a whole world of responsibilities behind the scenes.
And to think it all started with a girl watching a woman on television and thinking, “Maybe one day…” 🥹❤️

Well, one day became reality. ✨💄
