I’m so grateful for the partnership between @facesofvirtue and @saintskrewe. Thank you for helping exude confidence and a beautiful camera-ready look in us.

A special thank you to @loveparisparker for my hair transformation. It has truly been a game-changer, not only do I love the look, but having the freedom to move my hair with confidence has made such a difference in how I perform.

So thankful for everyone who poured their talent, care, and creativity into making this day so special. What an unforgettable experience! ✨

POV: You have the BEST partners 🩷🥹

Seriously…our Beauty & Style Lounge Essence Fest Kickoff came to life because so many amazing brands and local businesses said, “Count us in.”

From beauty touch-ups and sweet treats to gift bags and all the little details, y’all helped us create such a beautiful experience for every woman who walked through our doors.

To every partner who believed in this vision before there was even proof…thank you. We couldn’t have done it without you, and we’re so grateful to have you in our @the.cultuher family.

Same time next event? 😉✨

Girls just wanna have fun…and build community while they’re at it

I seriously can’t believe it’s already been two weeks since @the.cultuher’s Beauty & Style Lounge kicked off Essence Festival weekend.

One afternoon.
New friendships.
Beautiful conversations.
Lots of laughter.
Memories we’ll be talking about for a long time.

Watching this recap back just reminds me why I started The CultuHER in the first place.

Safe to say…this won’t be our last 😉

We already have a few things cooking, and I honestly can’t wait to share what’s next.

Until then…thank you for being part of this beautiful community 🫶🏽

They say build the thing you wish existed.

That’s exactly what @the.cultuher has been for me.

When I stepped out on faith to create this community, I wasn’t just planning events. I was creating the kinds of spaces I had experienced while living in New York, Atlanta, and beyond—spaces where women could genuinely connect, celebrate one another, and leave feeling more inspired than when they arrived.

So to host our Essence Festival Beauty & Style Lounge in my hometown of New Orleans… during one of the biggest celebrations of Black culture in the world… was incredibly full-circle.

What started with room for 40 women sold out in just three days, with more than 120 women joining the waitlist. That alone reminded me that so many of us are craving intentional community.

We laughed. We networked. We discovered incredible local brands. We celebrated beauty, style, entrepreneurship, and each other—before the whirlwind of @essencefest officially began.

If you know me, you know connecting people has always been my superpower. It led me to a 15-year career in communications. It’s the reason I naturally build community everywhere I go. And now, it’s the heartbeat behind The CultuHER.

To every woman who came, every partner who believed in this vision before it was proven, and every person cheering this dream on—thank you. You are helping me build something bigger than an event.

You’re helping build a community.

And judging by this weekend…the girls are ready 🤏🏽
