Áron Takács and members of Face Team watched together series called „Spartacus” after an acrobatic basketball practice. „Gannicus” a gladiator was running away from his opponent, who was a larger and stronger fighter. When they reached the side of the arena Gannicus stepped onto the side wall from where he performed a backflip off one leg, and stabbed his enemy while still in the air.
This scene was the spark behind the slam dunk trick nowadays called the „Gannicus” dunk, that Áron visualized, then assembled together step by step throughout years of work. Also the first to successfully finish the dunk in a practice environment and in front of a live audience within a show. With this trick, Face Team has won the hearts of fans during the 2014 @fiba Basketball World Cup in Barcelona and in Madrid. A few years later, Áron enchanted the members of the @harlemglobetrotters with the move and he won the Solo Dunk competition in 2019’s #BuDUNKpest, at Heroes’ Square.
The artwork and the T-shirt design has not only given kudos to the difficulty level of the element and to the successes of Áron Takács and Face Team, but it has become a part of the history of acrobatic basketball and freestyle slam dunking.

A rajz nemcsak a trükk nehézsége, Takács Áron és a Face Team sikerei előtt áldoz, hanem fontos része a sportág történelmének.
