I love a perfect before/after pic just like any dentist, but sometimes results can’t be captured in a photo. Aesthetics are key after a Botox treatment AND I love hearing “my jaw is more relaxed”, “I’m having way less headaches”, “my neck and shoulder tension is gone”, or “I don’t have to take as many pain medications anymore” 🫶🏾💕

If you know me I’m definitely not one to be vulnerable on Insta… 😅 but lately I’ve been reminding myself how easy it is to focus on what you haven’t done yet, instead of how far you’ve actually come.

Becoming an injector and continuing to grow in aesthetics and skin, getting to teach nursing students in the skills lab at Fairfield U, my own alma mater, and pushing myself to become the strongest and healthiest version of me… these were all things I once hoped for / never thought I could have.

I’m still my own biggest critic but I’m learning to stop comparing and actually be so proud of the work it took to get here!!! So grateful for all my friends, family, co-workers, coaches, clients, and students who are the best support system and give me the confidence everyday.

This is your sign to keep working hard, keep following the things you love, and don’t forget to look back every once in a while. You might be closer to the person you wanted to become than you think 🤸🏼‍♀️✨👩🏻‍⚕️💉📚💪
