A night out just for the ladies. 🪩💛

Have you noticed how hard it gets to make friends after school, after kids, or after a big move? You’re not imagining it. Adult friendships usually need three things: proximity, repetition, and a relaxed setting where people can let their guard down.

Women-only spaces make that easier. There’s less performing, more laughing, and room to just be yourself.

That’s why we create intentional gatherings for Tampa Bay women, so you don’t have to wait for friendship to “just happen.”

👇 Be honest: is it harder for you to meet new friends or to keep up with the ones you have?

Nobody hands you the social rulebook when you move. You have to learn it by watching. 👀

Baltimore taught me to connect through shared activities. Tampa taught me that the front door matters. Neither is right or wrong. They're just different cultures of connection.

Your turn: where did you grow up, and how did people there make new friends? Drop it in the comments. I want to compare notes. 👇🏾

Pull up a chair. 🪑

If this week’s posts have been calling you out a little… just know that was intentional.

Because sometimes the problem isn’t your actual to do list. It’s trying to tackle everything alone.

And we might have found a way to change that. 💻

Introducing The Desk Date — a FREE virtual co working experience hosted by IGC x @herluxeledger_ x @dreamerrrs___ where accountability meets good company happening next THIS Monday OCT 19th.

No more romanticizing productivity. We’re making space for it.

Turns out maybe getting things done doesn’t always require more discipline. Sometimes, you just need the right people in the room. 👀

A friend, a timer, and 30 minutes of focused work can make all the difference.

But what if the structure, accountability, and good company were already taken care of for you?

That’s where The Desk Date comes in. 🤍

A little less procrastinating, a little more doing, and connections that go beyond small talk.

Comment “DESK DATE” and we’ll send you the registration link for THIS monday. Your unfinished to do list might thank you. 💌

What if the reason you can’t get anything done… has nothing to do with your discipline? 👀

You know what needs to get done. So why does actually starting feel like the hardest part?

There’s a little psychology behind this that nobody talks about enough. And sometimes, the missing piece isn’t another planner, another coffee, or more motivation.

It’s who’s sitting across from you!

You’re not lazy. You might just need some company. 🤍

That’s exactly why we created The Desk Date. A space to get things done without feeling like you have to do it all alone.

Curious what a little company could do for your productivity? Come find out at our next Desk Date on Oct 19th.

Ever notice how you can put something off for DAYS… but the second you’re sitting next to someone else, suddenly you’re getting things done?

Funny how that works, right? 👀

There’s actually a psychological reason behind it. It’s called body doubling.

And once you understand why it works, you might start looking at your work environment a little differently.

Let’s just say… The Desk Date wasn’t created by accident. 🪑

We’re getting into the psychology behind it this week. Stay close by 🤍

I almost didn’t go today.

You know those moments when staying home sounds REALLY good? Yeah. That was me. 😂

But I went.

And I’m so glad I did.

Because I genuinely LOVE this part of building a business.

The rooms.
The conversations.
The random “wait…you do WHAT?!” moments.
Meeting women I probably never would have crossed paths with otherwise.
Seeing familiar faces and deepening those relationships.
Making connections that might turn into collaborations, friendships, referrals, opportunities, or simply really good conversations.

There is something powerful about intentionally putting yourself in rooms where people are creating, building, dreaming and doing things differently.

Not because every conversation needs to turn into a client.

Not because you need to walk out with some immediate ROI.

But because relationships matter.

Community matters.

Being known matters.

And sometimes the biggest opportunities start with simply being willing to walk into the room.

Also…if the room happens to involve Nightgowns & Networking, 2000s nostalgia and major Mean Girls energy?

Even better. 😂💗

This was SO much fun.

And a very good reminder that sometimes you just have to get dressed (or apparently…put on a nightgown 😂), leave the house, and GO.

You never know who you’re going to meet.

DJ Dreamer understood the assignment.. 🎧🤍

She’s bringing the 2000s/R&B energy to Nightgowns & Networking and helping us make the room feel fun, comfortable, and safe connecting in.

From weddings to wellness events, content creator events, boat charters + more, she knows how to read a room and create a vibe AND I’m so excited to have her sponsoring this one with us.

Tampa girls, if you’ve been waiting for your sign to come out, meet women, and have a good time without the stiff networking energy… this is it.

Comment “2000s” and I’ll send you the ticket details 💿✨
