Flat footage straight off the camera looks nothing like the finished video you see on release. Most people either leave it grey and lifeless or slap a filter on it that looks fake within five seconds.

Colour grading is neither. It’s a full rebuild of contrast, tone, and mood until the footage actually matches what the moment felt like.

The difference between finished footage and raw footage is not a filter. The difference is work.

Behind the scenes with @fadimoub on Whole Night. Real locations, real lights, and more takes than anyone expects to get one shot right.

The track passed 950K views. This is some of what it took to get there.

S-Log3 flat footage doesn't look like much straight out of camera. This is what a proper colour grade does to it.

Music video for Fadi Moubayed -Whole Night. Shot on Sony, graded in DaVinci Resolve from S-Log3 / S-Gamut3.Cine to Rec.709-A.

The mood, the skin tones, the depth in those shadows, none of that exists in the raw file. It gets built in post.

Late nights, fast cuts, and pure energy. 🎥🔥

Post-production is officially done on the visuals for @fadimoub “Whole Night.” We pushed this edit into a raw, grainy, high-octane music video vibe, and we can’t wait for you guys to see the final cut.

Swipe for the BTS reality check behind the cinematic shots. Which look is your favorite?
