Magic happens when you least expect it! I haven’t seen @monika_lauridsen in a year. For years we’ve been talking about collaborating but I guess it’s just not our time yet… well until tonight! I only got back from the UK last night and a chance Instagram catch up message lead to a perfect evening appreciating art 😍 Thank you for inviting me to contribute my “Kingfisher” to your “I Love Malaysia” exhibition - your last one for @collect_art_world in Malaysia until you head into a new chapter of life in a new country ! Thank you always for your support, encouragement, belief, smile, laughter, joy and love, dear Monika. A real pleasure to see some familiar faces and meet new artists as well as make new friends. Perfect way to beat jet lag too I look forward to everything life brings you ❤️ #paintingbirds #abstractartists #intuitiveartwork #intuitiveartist #malaysianartist

Where Flowers Remember Home II 91.5x91.5cm Oil, Oil Pastel on Canvas 2026 Fadzril Fakaruddin — G13 Gallery is pleased to present our 16th Anniversary Show, featuring over 40 artists. Marking 16 years of growth, discovery and collaboration, we celebrate this milestone with an exhibition honouring the diverse voices that have shaped our journey and continue to expand our artistic conversations. This work is a quiet love letter to home — a place where the smallest gestures become the deepest expressions of love. Inspired by the artist's mother, whose gentle habit of arranging flowers brought warmth, beauty, and peace into the family home, the painting celebrates the tenderness found in ordinary moments that quietly become extraordinary memories. Each bloom carries more than colour; it holds fragments of affection, gratitude, and the invisible threads that bind a family together — silent witnesses to laughter shared over meals, conversations that linger into the evening, and the comforting presence of someone whose love never asked to be noticed, only felt. Through layered compositions, delicate textures, and a gentle harmony of colours, Fadzril Fakaruddin invites viewers to slow down and return to the places where their hearts first learned the meaning of comfort, belonging, and unconditional love — a tribute to the enduring love of family, and the gentle hope that wherever life may lead us, our hearts will always find their way back to the garden where love first bloomed. 📍 16th Anniversary Show from 8 to 29 August 2026 at G13 Gallery. Visit us now before the show ends! Please contact the gallery at g13gallery@gmail.com or via DM. For enquiry, kindly contact us through WhatsApp at +6013 2342126 (Wendy). Link in bio to learn more. A day to remember 💕 My niece, daughter of my cousin, the first cicit to our late grand parents of Sarajuddin, has finally tied the knot with the man of her dreams. It’s been such a surreal feeling, all the memories flooding in, from the day she was born, to the day she left for university in America…and suddenly I received news of her wedding! It’s truly an honor to be part of the wedding’s preparation, and played the cello for this beautiful day. I cried a little. To see the little girl we know, has grown to a beautiful and independent woman, and now, finally spreading her wings to a brand new beginning 💕 May Allah bless this union and for them to be together till Jannah Shoutout to all team and crew, for making this wedding memorable! #IQsayIDo #wedding #memory #family #sirenwithoutavoice
