Our Final Dance of the Year Is Here! 🪩

The legendary John Morales @john_morales_mix aka M&M Mix is back in Berlin with Disko Souk on November 6th at Lark.

After almost 10 years, the Brooklyn-born legend returns to Berlin for a very special night.
John has been in the game since the late ’70s, making him one of the true pioneers of the remix and a key figure in the evolution of disco and post-disco.

His work has touched essential records by Leroy Burgess, Inner Life, Shalamar, Frankie Beverly, The Temptations, Evelyn “Champagne” King, Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes, Skyy, Marvin Gaye and many more. Over the years, he worked across legendary labels including Salsoul Records, Prelude, Motown and beyond.
Through his iconic M+M / M&M mixes, John transformed records into extended dancefloor journeys, developing a signature approach to editing, mixing and reel-to-reel that helped define an era.

Joining him is one of our favourite Berlin DJs and selectors, @femdelic Spinning vinyl since 2005, Marisa aka Femdelic was born and raised in Berlin to a Congolese father and German mother. Her sound is deeply rooted in boogie, funk and disco, shaped by her African heritage and Berlin roots.
A serious vinyl digger and selector, she has taken her groove across Europe, California, South Africa and beyond, sharing the decks with Maurice Fulton, Nightmares on Wax, DJ Amir, DJ Koco, Shy One and many more.

And completing the lineup is The Brahma @imthebrahma, the Moroccan-born, Berlin-based DJ and the face behind Disko Souk. His sound moves between boogie, classic and hi-energy disco, alongside different shades of house and a deep love for the dancefloor.

𝐌𝐎𝐆𝐀 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐞 ❤️

Thank you to the MOGA family for the trust over the years.
In 2021 when the first edition landed in Portugal, I had the privilege of being the first DJ to open the festival. A 4 hour set at Palms Dr. Bernard. The kind of moment you don’t forget.
In 2024 I closed the weekend playing the last party for the Staff, Monday night at Lorosae.

This year I’m opening the SQALA stage: Friday, 29th May from 3.30pm to 5pm.

Come early, it will be worth it.

For several years now, @tartarcolors has been building worlds we don’t want to leave. ❤️

The Hafla stage returns in a new form and with a new story, each time reimagined from the ground up.

Born from Moroccan minds and landing on a beach in Portugal, it’s where MOGA Caparica’s Moroccan roots take shape through a colourful, soulful craft that’s instantly recognisable.

Hafla stage is back. See you on the dancefloor.

We are back again!💃🏻🕺🏻
Save the date: January 17th, 2026 at @bulbulberlin

We invite you to start the year with a lot of grooves and good vibes. For this new edition, we wanted to make it special by reuniting our family, artists who share the same spirit, values, and love for groove 💙

First up, @thisispaulita a Berlin-based DJ, selector, and curator known for her soulful approach to sound. Her sets flow between disco, deep house, and slow-tempo grooves, always grounded in emotion and atmosphere. As co-founder of @cactus.berlin she creates spaces where warmth and rhythm meet community. Beyond the booth, she works across label and artist projects that reflect her deep interest in storytelling, intention, and sound.

@req_teq educated as a computer engineering wizard, naturally deconstructs the sounds around him to better understand and harmonize them. From city noise to video game music and amazigh rhythms, everything inspires him and becomes a melody, a bridge, or a variation in his mixes which are complex yet filled with poetry.

@saib_eats is an artist shaped by the warm, understated currents of ’90s hip hop and deep house, operating comfortably in the space between groove and atmosphere. Drawn to rhythm and feeling from the outset, his sound has evolved into a refined blend of smooth basslines, subtle percussion, and emotive textures that favor depth over excess.
With a natural ear for both production and flow, Saib’s music blurs genre lines while remaining rooted in the dance floor. Guided by instinct rather than trends, he continues to develop a sound defined by patience, warmth, and a lasting devotion to house music in all its deeper forms.

@imthebrahma the face behind Disko Souk, has a real soft spot for anything groovy, disco, house, and all the little corners in between.
His sets can go anywhere from Philly disco to Afro and Italo vibes... What ties it all together is his instinct for keeping things fun and funky.

Special thanks to our creative buddy @faical_adali who's behind this amazing flyer 🎨

We’ll be happy to see you again on the dance floor. 🪩🚀

Thanks to everyone who joined us last week for the opening of ‘Mechanics of Belief’ - the latest exhibition launched under our Associate Artists Program (AAP).

Curated by Aicha Benazzouz & Natasha Cox, Mechanics of Belief brings together newly commissioned works by Moroccan artists Faical Adali and Yassine Chraibi. Through their work these talented artists confront the systems that shape how we see and act. Though visually distinct, both installations explore how systems of power, belief and identity are constructed, embodied and reimagined. Their work exposes belief for what it truly is - something negotiated, unstable and alive.

This exhibition is open until the 8th December

Meet the talented artists behind Mechanics of Belief - our latest exhibition launching today and open until the 8th December.

The exhibition has been curated by Aicha Benazzouz and Natasha Cox and brings together newly commissioned works from Yassine Chraibi & Faical Adali. Though visually distinct, they both explore how systems of power, belief and identity are constructed, embodied and reimagined.

FAICAL ADALI
Faical Adali is a Casablanca–based visual artist whose work celebrates and interrogates Moroccan cultural + visual identity. Through painting, photography, drawing and digital design, his work reflects on how universal and distinctly local symbols shape collective imagination and self-expression.

Rooted locally but in dialogue globally, his practice is deeply informed by Casablanca’s street culture and urban history; capturing the spirit of Moroccan urban life—its humour, rhythm, and contradictions—while exploring how global symbols of consumption and aspiration are absorbed into personal and shared identity. His background continues to inform a practice that moves fluidly between fine art and popular culture, between the studio and the street.

We are thrilled to be working with and supporting Faical.

The IZZA Associate Artists Programme presents Mechanics of Belief, an exhibition bringing together newly commissioned works by Moroccan artists Faical Adali and Yassine Chraibi.

🗓 8th November - 8th December
📍 IZZA, Marrakech

Curated by Aicha Benazzouz and Natasha Cox.

Within Mechanics of Belief, Adali and Chraibi confront the systems that shape how we see and act, one through participation and the other through expression. Though visually distinct, both artists explore how systems of power, belief and identity are constructed, embodied and reimagine.

Their works expose belief not as an abstract idea but as a living mechanism, built and sustained through repetition, desire and collective imagination. At IZZA, where public and private blur, these works turn the viewer into both witness and participant. Presence itself becomes material. Belief, like art, is revealed for what it truly is: something negotiated, unstable and alive.

The Associate Artists Program supports 17 Morocco-based artists in providing time, space, and resources to develop new projects, print editions, and exhibition works. The program fosters collaboration, experimentation, and visibility while strengthening IZZA’s role as a platform for artistic exchange — a place where creativity, community, and the city of Marrakech continually illuminate one another.
