What a great way to start this gravel bike adventure from @leadout.events. Heading south from Guildford on canal paths and old railway lines until we hit the coast, then along using the seafront on bike paths to Brighton, finishing at Newhaven ferry port before crossing to France and a night in a hotel.

Everything taken care of, hotels, luggage, cafe stops, backup mechanics, all you have to do is enjoy the riding!

We’re taking the trails less travelled later this week, joining our mates @leadout.events for 4 days of brilliant gravel riding all the way to Paris.

We’ve even designed a custom jersey for both ride captans and riders, keeping temperatures under control thanks to a unique blend of Merino and Tencel fibres.

Follow our journey on socials as we head south, stopping in at probably one too many boulangeries on the way.

My TDFFAZ partner in crime Rhian & I may have looked slightly nuts half dressed cycling across Lausanne yesterday morning, but we were off to join forces with the amazing @theroute_cl crew.
This is a group of women cycling every stage of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift one day in advance to raise funds and awareness for @cureleukaemia.
Thankfully were given team jerseys and slotted right in. What an amazing and inspiring group of women from all over the world.
I got major flashbacks from last time I rode an ASO Tour a day ahead of the pros, but thankfully things have come a long way in 7 years and this time I didn’t have a point to prove!
Highlights were the inspirational riders, fantastic ride leaders, the Tourmac, the Flechage crew, the moto outriders and full support team, WOW! 🥰🥰🥰
THANK YOU for letting us join you for the day and best of luck with both the fundraising and riding, we’ll see you in Nice for a celebration in 8 days! 💖💖💖
