You can’t move forward while still holding on to your old ways

In honor of starting this new chapter I felt this video needed a repost. I found myself trying to become a new version of myself while still holding on to certain habits and things that don’t align with the new me. I kept wondering why am I still falling, why are the same things still tripping me up, and it’s because I’m still clinging to things from the past. As long as I continue to do hold on to those things I won’t ever be able to fully evolve into the new me. As humans we tend to fear change and sometimes breaking that habit whatever it may be is also hard. Regardless of if you are showing up everyday or living miserably they are both hard and we must choose our hard. Stop waiting for the right time. Stop waiting for everything to be perfect. News flash there is no right time and it will never be perfect. We have to work with what we have and make the most out of every moment. God is not waiting for you to be perfect, He accepts us as we are. It’s time we accept ourselves as we are.

Here is to showing up everyday and becoming the best version of ourselves!
