They say it takes a village, but watching Ava grow has shown us just how deep and beautiful that village can truly be. Today, on Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating every woman who has poured love, wisdom, protection, prayers, hugs, guidance, and presence into our daughter’s life.

From her incredible birth mother and birth grandmother, to my mom, my mother in law, her great grandmother, godmothers and the many aunties who love her like their own, Ava is surrounded by generations of strong women who continue shaping her world every single day.

As two dads, we never take for granted the love that surrounds our daughter. She is growing up embraced by a village rooted in compassion, sacrifice, grace, and unconditional love and that is one of the greatest gifts we could ever give her.

Happy Mother’s Day to every woman helping raise, nurture, guide, and love our sweet girl. We love you all more than words can say. 💐💕
