I know it probably doesn’t look like much, but every play is someone taking time to enjoy music that I’ve put an unreasonably large amount of work into. Thank you guys so much for all of your support this past year, and I’m excited to keep making cool sounds for all of you in 2023

Warmer in Theory is out now!!

This album is the culmination of about 7 or 8 years of growth, both musically and personally. I’ve changed as a person and a composer since the first time I opened Ableton live to write music (hopefully for the better), and I wanted the album to reflect that. Hopefully it does.

The album contains work derived from concepts that some people may find upsetting (depression, anxiety, other things that I would rather not display on the internet, etc.), so please listen with that in mind. Each song represents a different introspective facet of the project, and tackles a different subject matter or idea that I’ve been grappling with over these last 7 months or so.

I’m both excited and genuinely terrified to share this much of myself with the world, and I guess the only way to see what would happen if I did is to just jump right in and do it.

See you on the other side,

Evan

A little life update:

I’m heading up to the university of Michigan next year in the Performing Arts Technology program, super excited to bring more music to you guys from one of the best (if not the best) music tech/ electroacoustic composition programs in the states. Go blue

And some kind of bad news:

Recently had a drive of mine wiped that was holding a ton of organizational documents, project files, and audio files for the upcoming album. I’ve already started working with some of the people involved (not like someone did it maliciously lol) to get the recovery process started, but I just wanted to make sure that you guys knew. The album will be out a couple weeks later than I anticipated, and that window is still not super concrete so we’re in a bit of a holding pattern as it stands right now. I can’t wait to share it with all of you but patience is the name of game for the moment.

Thanks for taking some time to read, thanks for the support and thanks to some of you for contributing to this absolutely beautiful mess of a project
