📌 Post 1 — The WHY (short)

Why do some players improve faster and enjoy training more?

It’s not just coaching.
It’s how they learn.

Players who set goals, monitor themselves, and reflect… improve faster.

👉 That’s self-regulation.

With the SELF Toolkit, you don’t just train skills — you train players to take ownership of their development.

Train the mind. Grow the player.

Apparently we’re still having conversations about women in sports in 2026. Meanwhile, Alma Gandrup #3 is getting buckets and the Frederiksberg Falcons bench is losing its mind.🤯

The braided guard and captain is in her fifth season with Falcon in the Danish Women’s Basketball League. This one is from the Kvindebasketligaen season kickoff in Copenhagen. ✨🏀

Anyway, I personally expect this level of celebration from my friends every time I complete a minor task. Thank you 🤌🏻

🎥 SELF

What does self-regulation mean in youth sport, and how can coaches help young athletes take greater responsibility for their own development?

In this video, Gino Schilders, Coach, shares his perspective on working with young athletes and the importance of giving children an active role in their own development.

SELF encourages coaches to create an environment where young athletes can learn, reflect, make decisions and gradually take ownership of their sporting journey. 🧠🏑

U19 LIGA | WIN ON THE ROAD 🐍🏀

Our U19 Liga team took the win on the road tonight! against @falconfrb 💪

In a classic messy opening game of the season, NSBU came out on top.

We know nothing is decided at this point of the season. The road is long, there’s plenty of work ahead — and luckily, we’re on this journey together. 🖤🤍

One game. One step. Keep building. 🧱
