A local high school student is going through a hard time. He was in need of a bike to help him get around specifically so he can get to a job. We sent out a message for support and @sosthriftores and the Fall family answered the call! They purchased a brand new bike, helmet, bike lock and phone holder for the student! Not only will this gift give him freedom to get around, he will also feel the love of community! We are so thankful for this support!! #wearevb

✨Making a Difference: S.O.S. Thrift ✨ This month, we’re spotlighting S.O.S. Thrift Store in Virginia Beach, founded by Alanton resident Suzanne Fall. 🏫 S.O.S. = Save Our Schools A partnership with Virginia Beach City Public Schools, where every purchase helps provide school supplies, essentials, and nourishment directly to students to help them put their attention toward learning, and not basic needs—all distributed through school social workers. When you visit the store, you can even donate money at the register! Suzanne, owner of Feathered Nest Estate Sales, was inspired after seeing her teacher friends spend their own money to cover classroom and basic needs for students. S.O.S. Thrift helps fill those gaps for children in our community. 🤝 How you can help: ☑️ Come shop for secondhand treasures! ☑️ Donate your gently used items (no appliances, armoires, bulky furniture or mattresses) ☑️ Drop off your donation, or schedule a donation pickup: 757-937-9584 📍 New Location: 5193 Shore Dr #109, Virginia Beach, 23455

She is SO proud and she should be! Six months of hard work has come to fruition! Every morning and afternoon she is so happy to go see her ladies and talk to them💗I once read a quote that said “Dont raise your children to be rich. Educate them to be happy. When they grow up, they will know the value of things and not the price.” We’d also like to thank our lovely village for helping keep the ladies safe! @maria.d.sullivan @juliannehaycox @fall.suzanne ❤️‍🩹🐥🐓🍳And you thought we were just raising chickens 😉😏😬💜🤓🥰#peytoncottrell #raisingchickens #meyershatchery #farmlifelessons #loveineverydetail #eggdealer

Got the opportunity to fish the @legendsofthefly tournament today in Va. Beach with my good friend and amazing fisherman Capt Chris Ludford @pleasurehouseoysters What an amazing tournament these guys put on for a great group of charities. Chris worked hard putting me on some fish but I just didn’t connect with the right ones. Thank you to all the board members that make this event happen #flyfish #fish #saltwater #vabeach #legendsofthefly #seiglerreels #projecthealingwaters #seal-kids #sagerods #fishburnart @bluegillbill47 @wes_seigler @fishseigler @osborne.kendall @john.fall @fall.suzanne @coryruthlessrouth @nottowayric @roa_handmade @fishburnart @sandflyhatcompany

We are exactly one month out from the tournament and we are getting amped up! . We would like to take a moment to thank all of our sponsors for this year's tournament. It means the world to us and our beneficiaries to have your support, we cannot thank you enough! @suttelmotorsgroup @gbrsgroup @fishseigler @mossycreekflyfishing @featherednestvb @fishburnart @bluegillbill47 @boldmariner @reilly_rod_crafters @pleasurehouseoysters @shootingpointoysters @adamsoutdoor @drinkallhands @reelsportswear . We are also getting a sweet lot of items together for the silent auction and we'll be sharing those over the coming days! . We are looking forward to our best year yet, but most importantly, we are proud and honored to be supporting our Veterans and their families through @phwff and @sealkids . #flyfishing
