🪿🪩 this fri 4.24 @ 7p we’re running it back! with v special guest @falling.goose bringing premium crafted milk teas in the bay — jasmine esp sourced from my mom’s home province, yunnan 💛

new menu is centered on egyptian home cooking. from baba’s childhood to my brother omar’s… macarona bechamel is a family fav symbolic of egypt’s dynamic history, and mama would always have hers with a side of chili oil ;) every moment of wrapping warak enab is a memory where friends, aunties, and baba gather round to share stories and laughter, our hands pungent with brine, steadily layering up the jumbo pot with delicate bundles of rich, savory, earthy tartness.
as always, so many more dishes to share… bamia, shorbat ads, shorbat lesan al-asfour, tameya…

Small moments at Kindred from these past couple of weeks.

We’re building something here that’s much more than drinks and crafts. It’s real community.

We want you here, and we’ll welcome you always. Come hang out with us here for tea on Thursdays through Sundays from 5 PM to 8 PM, or work with us on Tuesdays through Fridays from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Some popups at our downtown location of late with new and old partners. It's always been a point of pride for us to host other businesses - we CAN all succeed together, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. There's a unique beauty to hospitality and making people happy and having fun 😊. More to come soon.

Last Sunday felt like one of those perfect little SF moments ☁️✨

I stopped by @falling.goose pop-up at @kindredstudiosf and it was such a vibe — a cozy community space, good music, and really good tea 🤍

I got the Jasmine milk tea and the Duck Shit oolong milk tea (yes… the name 😭) and both were so good. Strong tea flavor with just the right amount of milk, super balanced and not too sweet 🍵✨

My friend got the Red Big Red Robe hot tea and that one was just as good — warm, rich, and really comforting ☕

They also had a DJ playing Global South music selections — chicha, highlife, bolero, harana, Vietnamese and Chinese classics — and it just made the whole space feel so alive 🎶

Definitely one of those slow, feel-good afternoons.

Would you pull up to a tea pop-up like this? 🍵💭

We’re so excited for this pop-up with Falling Goose (@falling.goose) on April 5th. When we sampled their menu, it was genuinely some of the best milk tea we’ve ever had.

Falling Goose is a milk tea pop-up built around Chinese loose-leaf tea, simple ingredients, and a culture-first approach.

The milk tea menu focuses on three selected teas: jasmine green, duck shit oolong, and big red robe oolong.

Inspired by listening cultures across Asia, Latin America, and beyond, the project treats tea as a medium for gathering, connection, and cultural discovery.
