The end of an Era at JetBlue Airlines 💙✈️
The week my father past away last year from cancer, I got the call back from JetBlue! I told him about the job and I remember him telling me “you’re going to get it” & I did Dad, I got it! I know he knows all about my experience from Heaven.
All last year, I turned my grief into hard work, something I’ve specifically watched my Father (& my mother) do all their life. I turned that pain into devotion for a new career endeavor and a new chance to completely engulf myself in a new industry. I’m close to doing it all & I love that about myself. My dad too called himself a jack of all trades.
God has a way of pulling me through the suffering last year had on me. The week dad transitioned to heaven I also got pregnant with my first born son & my father’s first grandchild.
Remarkable. God gave me many reasons to keep going, so I persevered. I attended rigorous weeks of studying and test taking at JetBlue University alongside the coolest people ever, & got to do some pretty cool things. My favorite part of JBU was our professor Mr. Jaime, the food, & the pool. I pretty much lived on campus, until I graduated and started working as Airport Operations at Orlando’s new terminal C (which is huge and stunning✨)

I love my team and the leadership at JetBlue Airlines 🛫 and I hope to return again in the future. My favorite part of the job was connecting the JetBridge to the aircraft & loading flights with 200 passengers @ a time. I love the thrill of making sure the plane was ready for an on time departure. It was an adrenaline rush. I did all of this pregnant; from the moment I found out, up until 9 months pregnant. Thank God, for good coworkers & great friends who supported me & had the best reaction to finding out my baby was a boy! 💙
I’ll never forget running from gate 2 gate, catching flights, to loading passengers quickly, working with pilots, jumping on board the aircraft to check attendance & changing flights for customers at the front desk. It all feels like a fever dream. 💭
However the time is coming to an end, I’m so ready and thrilled to enter the best career path ever, MOTHERHOOD✨No regrets, just a Promotion ✨
