There are a few things in my life that bring me joy. Editing movies is near the top of the list. I absolutely love being in my editing studio to bring life to stories that my friends write and shoot. This particular project I was happy to team up with @fallriverpictures and @thisisaaronemmanuel to bring to life “The Bird Puppeteer” #filmmaking #wisconsinfilmmaker #postproduction #filmediting

It’s Not Haunted is premiering!🎊 Our short film was accepted into @zionsindiefilmfest and will premier on February 26th 🎬 If you want to win two tickets to our showing click the link in my bio for more info! I love my double life of EA by day and filmmaker by night but as our production company @fallriverpictures gets its sea legs, all the support we get with our projects means the world to us 🥰 We are so grateful for all the support we had funding the production and now we need a little more help covering our post production costs and would love to call on film lovers and our friends to contribute just $5 to help us reach our goal! NOTE: To watch "Femme Fatale", click on the link that is in my @instagram header. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ON THIS DAY IN (MY ACTING CAREER'S) HISTORY: We take a Wayback Wednesday to 2018 when I got bloodied up for a short film called "Femme Fatale" (directed by @justporterthedirector and produced by @g8keepermp). This BTS selfie was taken after I had concluded filming on the small set at @redsky_studios, that way I could still show off the impressive make-up work that gave me the crimson mask I was wearing. (I've shared a similar post in the past; and once again, the selfie is in greyscale simply due to the fact I don't want to get my account flagged for being NSFW. Yeah, the blood was pretty realistic for what it's worth.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Photo Date: 04/14/2018 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This BTS selfie was filtered through the Inkwell setting with the Lux set halfway and a good number of other edits applied. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ #Acting #ActingLife #Actor #ActorLife #ActorsLife #ActorsLifestyle #BehindTheScenes #BTS #CrimsonMask #FakeBlood #FemmeFatale #Film #FilmMakeUp #Filmmaking #FilmNoir #Greyscale #Indie #IndieFilm #IndieMovie #Inkwell #MakeBelieve #Movie #MovieMakeUp #OnThisDay #OnThisDayInHistory #SAG #SAGAFTRA #Selfie #Wayback #WaybackWednesday ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Be sure to follow my social media accounts for all the latest updates... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ * Facebook: TheChrisJFaria * Instagram: TheChrisJFaria * Twitter: TheChrisJFaria * YouTube: Cyber-Troupe Studios * YouTube (Vlogging Channel): BTSwithCTS

Friday's thoughts be like: Have you seen "Femme Fatale", yet? I didn't don this crimson mask for nothing two years ago. Seriously, check out this amazing project from @justporterthedirector and @g8keepermp right now! The link to the short film is on my Instagram header. ------------------------------------------------------------ This was a behind the scenes photo that I took right after concluding filming for "Femme Fatale" on April 14th, 2018. I was still in make-up; so why not take a picture of myself before leaving set? I would love to show everyone how realistic the blood was; but this in color not being NSFW and whatnot, I don't want to risk my account getting flagged for it. Hopefully, you can take my word for it and believe me. ------------------------------------------------------------ #Actor #Acting #ActorLife #ActorsLife🎬 #ActorsLifestyle #ActingLife #ActingLifestyle #BehindTheScenes🎬 #AfterTheFact #PostGame #Filmmaking #Moviemaking #IndieFilm #IndieFilmmaking #IndieMovie #CrimeDrama #CrimeFilm #FilmNoir #Noir #Suspense #FemmeFatale #BlackAndWhiteFilm #BlackAndWhiteMovie #FilmMakeUp #MovieMakeUp #FakeBlood #MakeBelieve #Convincing #CrimsonMask ------------------------------------------------------------ This BTS photo was filtered through the #Inkwell setting (due to the fact there is realistic make-up depicting blood) with the Lux set to maximum and just a small amount of edits applied. ------------------------------------------------------------ Be sure to follow my social media accounts for all the the latest updates... ------------------------------------------------------------ * Facebook: TheChrisJFaria * Instagram: TheChrisJFaria * Twitter: TheChrisJFaria * YouTube: Cyber-Troupe Studios * YouTube (Vlogging Channel): BTSwithCTS

"An investigator wants the name of a female murder victim and interrogates the last man who saw her last." ------------------------------------------------------------ "Femme Fatale", from the folks over at @g8keepermp and directed by @justporterthedirector, has recently concluded its festival run and is now publicly available for everyone to view online. The link to the video is currently on my Instagram header. The short film stars yours truly as well as @generavvin and @therealmellard. We had filmed this almost 2 years to the day in April 2018. For its festival run, "Femme Fatale" was an official selection at the 2019 @grandtetonfilm, an official semi-finalist at the 2019 @lacrimehorrorfilmfestival and a nominee for both Best Noir Short and Best Score at the 2019 Genre Celebration Festival. Give it a watch. Tell me what you think. You will even see me dawning that "crimson mask". ------------------------------------------------------------ #Actor #Acting #ActorLife #ActorsLife🎬 #ActorsLifestyle #ActingLife #ActingLifestyle #BehindTheScenes🎬 #FilmFrame #MovieFrame #FilmStill #MovieStill #Filmmaking #Moviemaking #IndieFilm #IndieFilmmaking #IndieMovie #CrimeDrama #CrimeFilm #FilmNoir #Noir #Suspense #FemmeFatale #BlackAndWhiteFilm #BlackAndWhiteMovie #Interrogation #Investigator #Investigation #Suspect #CrimsonMask ------------------------------------------------------------ This still is lifted directly from the film and it is unfiltered.

Last week, I took part in the 10-Day Performer/Artist Challenge that is currently making the rounds on Facebook. I was nominated by @lukesmithactor. It was fun to do! The challenge stated: "Every day, select an image from a day in the life of a performer/artist - a photo from a day when you felt fierce or a memorable moment you've had during a performance/show; and post it without a single explanation. Then, nominate somebody to take the challenge. That's 10 days, 10 performance photos, 10 nominations and 0 explanations. Be active, be positive, be passionate! Raise awareness of the arts!" The following films/plays were choosen, from left-to-right, top-to-bottom... ----------------------------------------------------------------- * Day 1: "The Editor" (2018, dir. Paul Pierantozzi & Zach Churnetski) * Day 2: "Thirty-One" (2018, dir. Rodrigo Santos) * Day 3: "Femme Fatale" (2018, dir. @justporterthedirector) * Day 4: "Stunt Doubles" (2017, dir. @adamskantor) * Day 5: "Now I'm Confused" - Episode 0102, "CAMERA CAMERA, HATER HATER!" (2018, dir. Matthew Collins) * Day 6 (Top): "Ashes To Ashes" (2016, dir. @cheycapri & @lariannyperez) * Day 7 (Bottom): "The Jump" (2017, dir. Neslihan Şahinkaya) * Day 8: "Calm Down!" (2016, dir. This is my favorite production still from my 2017 short film Prisoner of War. The film has six official selections and the Award of Excellence from the Global Shorts film festival. I’m happy to announce that two years later it will have its final festival screening at the Grand Teton Film Festival @grandtetonfilm in Rexburg, ID. This is to cast and crew who made it possible and bringing it back home to where it was made. @c.kayladawn @tessalarraebroyles @pjdesignstudios @compulsivdydrmr @gunnycombs @levijensendirects @bradle25 @gwblunt @emmapetersendesigns @jndriboldi #idahofilmmakers #idahofilmmaking #rexburg #rexburgfilmgroup #byuigrad #filmdirectors #indiefilmmaker #independantfilm #filmfestival #gtff2019 #vfw #koreanwar #ptsd #proofofconcept #bringingithome

Got another film coming soon! This one could be a real bombshell. Noir has been an era and genre that I have come to love and appreciate in ways I could never dream of, and has become a huge influence in much of my filmmaking and stories. I look forward to sharing it with you. Thank you to everyone who helped out. #noirfilm #bostonfilmmaker #filmdirector #blackandwhite #hardboileddetective #femmefatale #bang #murdermystery
