💚🌍 WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY 2026 🌍💚

⚽ BAMBER MHFC – MORE THAN JUST FOOTBALL! ⚽

Sometimes, the hardest battle isn't the one on the pitch. It's the one nobody else can see. 💚

Today, on World Mental Health Day, we want to remind everyone of something incredibly important…

YOU MATTER. YOUR FEELINGS MATTER. AND YOU ARE NEVER ALONE. ❤️

At Bamber MHFC, we believe football is so much more than kicking a ball around.

It's about belonging.
It's about friendship.
It's about finding somewhere you can be yourself.
It's about having people around you who genuinely care.

For some, turning up to football is simply a bit of exercise.

For others, it might be the only hour of the week they escape their worries, feel included, have a laugh, or forget about the battles they're facing.

And that's why we do what we do. 💚

Since starting our journey in 2022, we've worked to create a community where nobody is judged by their ability, their background, or their mental health struggles.

You don't have to be the best footballer.

You don't have to pretend everything is okay.

You don't even have to talk about what you're going through.

Sometimes, just showing up is enough. 💚

To every person who has ever walked onto our pitch feeling anxious, overwhelmed, lonely, or unsure of themselves…

We're proud of you.

To everyone fighting battles behind a smile…

We see you.

And to anyone reading this who feels like they have nowhere to turn…

There is a place for you in our Bamber family.

Mental health awareness shouldn't be limited to one day of the year. It should be part of how we treat each other, how we listen, how we support, and how we build our communities every single day.

Because sometimes, something as simple as a football, a conversation, or someone asking "Are you alright, mate?" can make more of a difference than we realise.
