Hi Everyone. We just want to say THANK YOU so much from the bottom of our hearts. We exceeded our goal for Israel's GoFundMe in 24 hours and it just shows how much he truly meant to so many and how loved he is. This is beyond amazing. With that being said we are still going to leave the GoFundMe up in case anyone still feels so inclined to donate because after costs of cremation we are having a Celebration of Life in honor of Israel "Izzy" Madlangbayan and we hope every one of you can come celebrate, say farewell, and bring some closure to the life and legacy of our amazing loved one.

What can we say? This one really hit home hard! Israel was a a very early member of Stäläg 13 on bass. Thankfully he went on to form False Confession! Israel was a true one of a kind individual who brought a level of unique style and sophistication to the Nardcore scene. " Izzy " you were one of a kind and someone
I always felt grateful to have met early-on in the 805. You were an incredibly genuine friend and even though I was an outsider from Salinas, you treated me like everyone else with kindness, love and respect. This picture was taken the first time we met in 2015, when Infirmities were blessed with the opportunity to play the Official Nardfest After Party with False Confession at " The Sewer " Sans Souci. I’ll hold onto the memories of visiting you at your shop whenever I was in Ventura to catch you in your element cutting hair and how much you loved it. Thank you for always keeping in contact with me over the years and I’m extremely grateful we got to re-unite one last time sharing the stage together again in 2021. You will be deeply missed my friend but you’ll never be forgotten.

This GoFundMe page is being set up to help with the cost of Israel Madlangbayan's final arrangements. Israel passed away just recently on Oct. 3 from end-stage liver disease.

Israel was a staple in the punk rock scene at an early age in the 1980's. With his iconic style, it didn't take long for him to become an iconic frontman for a band and become engulfed in that world.

Later, he was a successful and talented hairstylist with his own salon.

As we grow older things can be unpredictable and sometimes like so many people with hardships in their life Israel chose to turn inward and not really open up to others about his internal struggles, but rather try to remain the positive, fun, and caring guy we all knew him as.

Israel suffered quite a few hardships from the dissolution of his marriage, to losing everything in a house fire, losing his Mother along with the home they shared, and finally losing his significant other who he took care of while she was sick until her passing.

We want to do this for Israel because he is important to so many people and as a kind and generous person, he would help others any time they asked. He has touched the lives of people from all over the world with his music in False Confession, as a talented hair stylist, and as an all-around caring and great human. We would like to show him how much he means to us by closing this chapter with love and dignity.

With donations from friends, family, fans, and clients like yourself we will be able to handle the proper final arrangements of cremation for him. If there is anything left over it will go towards securing the venue for an epic celebration of life to honor

Israel was an awesome frontman and a kind, friendly person. He cared about the Nardcore scene and was always supportive of our band. (even though we weren't really from Oxnard) His look and style was punk rock to the core. False Confession was truly an important staple in our California punk family. Our condolences to his family and friends. His absence will be felt greatly. 💔 CR

RIP Israel. You were one of the coolest, sweetest, and most creative people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. Some of the best times of my life were spent playing in my favorite band with you. I’m forever grateful for all the memories, adventures, and good times we shared. It was truly an honor to know you. You’ll be deeply missed, brother.
