Japan Music Post: I saw Incapacitants. Full stop. Thank you @gabiestrongggg for spotting the lead. GIRL!!🤘Truly, I could end there but I have SO MUCH to say. Japanese Noise is like my chocolate center. But sadly an IG caption just isn’t the spot to tell you all about it. Feel free to stop me on the street and let’s discuss! Keiji Haino and the Ruins also played that night. Both I’ve seen often - but never in Japan! On top of all that, @fancyfeces set up this pre-tour time with a couple of solo shows and he played with Mikawa, founder of Incapacitants. Many more things that night [video ☝️] but again, no time, so I’ll just say I’m so happy to have met @yvko_under then too, who also performed. There’s also @bastard.collective fury Austin and Joel 👀 and @garyhark🤘and extra ANDY @powerviolenceog aka PITBULL MIC. Many other artists. I don’t even know where to begin to start… Bastard Collective having the opportunity to tour Japan will always be a special moment in time I/we will forever cherish! Everyday was a surreal experience to be able to share the bill with such legendary acts. The overwhelming hospitality coming from every direction of good people that truly wanted to support us on this tour is a blessing that none of us should take for granted! First and foremost, a BIG shoutout to SHIGGY @el_puente_nishi_yokohama for setting up this whole tour and believing in what we do as a band! We wouldn’t have done this if it wasn’t for you! To be able to perform a packed house in El Puente was probably our best show of our entire existence as a band! Chef Yuki of El Puente was on point with the dank ass vegan-vegetarian food! Infinite hails to Yoshitaka @grindharvest - Naichin @naichin3 - and Miyagi @mascara__contra for going out of their way setting up the shows (respectfully in their city’s) in OSAKA, NAGOYA and TOKYO! MEGA PRAISE to @yumyumshuko and her husband @muscle_stupid for being the absolute BEST fucking hosts we have ever had!! I’m in a loss for words for the gratitude we have for you two letting B.C. stay at your beautiful home for three days! From the delicious breakfasts and lethally strong coffee, allowing us a private beer-drinking session at @thrashzone.official …going out of your way to call every record store to find a record-case for @fancyfeces mega haul of vinyl-crown-jewels…You two went above and beyond and we will never forget it! We love you beyond words! Special shoutout to my girl @mslashu for helping us out with the flight navigations, making it as easy possible for Andy and Joel to get on the plane safely and most importantly helping out with the merch table!! That did NOT go unnoticed and we thank you for that! Seriously! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to everyone that came out of their way to see us perform! Thank you @ffkt_fest for inviting me back to Japan 🇯🇵! It was a huge honor returning to the beautiful coastline of Shimoda and performing live while gazing out at turquoise waters of the pacific. I played a set of all new material 😶‍🌫️💫 Thank you to the artists at the festival and the record shops of Tokyo for showing me sounds and music beyond the farthest corners of my imagination. I’m filled to the brim with new frequencies. Shout out all the friends old and new. I wish I took more photos … but here’s a slice. Slide 18 was a great crew so I had to include even though I was 10 mins late to the photo 😂
