Had a lovely day at @southwest.mqg with lovely friends adding the binding to the Pokémon quilt that I'm sewing for @balloons_devon . I love this part! It's always exciting to see a finished quilt!

The Phantom of the Opera is block 5 of 16 in my epic musicals quilt. 🎭

This black and white floral from my stash ended up being an awesome background for this block. I wanted to have a little more interest instead of just a black background.

Oh me, oh my. I am elated!

Today I found out that my Halloween quilt won First Place and a Special Award at the Larimer County Fair! My Rocky quilt didn’t place, but I’m not upset. One of the volunteers told me that this was a LARGE quilt category this year. There are so many talented people out there.

Not too shabby for my first time. 🫠 This was an incredible experience and I’m so happy to have amazing people in my corner. 💙🤩
