there are so many versions of me - it’s almost funny. and for a while i made that a problem. especially with the simple things… liking pilates. drinking matcha. wearing what every woman in her 30s in a big city seems to wear. i judged that part of me. thought it meant i was influenced. not original. but honestly… who cares. of course i’m influenced. we all are. and still i get to choose what i actually enjoy. so now i just let it be. i like what i like. i change. i contradict myself. i outgrow things. i come back to others. and somehow that feels more honest than trying to be “unique” all the time. unapologetically myself right now just means: not overthinking every little preference, not making it mean something about my depth or worth, just… being in it. human, a bit random, a bit predictable, a bit weird. if you’re in a phase where you’re changing a lot - maybe nothing is wrong. maybe you’re just… moving. and you’re allowed to like what you like along the way. be the version you are right now, unapologetically. own it. and change when you feel like changing. no explanation needed. much love, maria. photo by amazing: @fanniheindl
