This audiobook blew me away. 😍♥️ Fanny Ducette is now an auto-buy narrator for me. Her voice is luxurious, emotional, and smooth. I could literally listen to her voice all day long. I highly recommend her work listed under Tiffany Vanlandingham as well. The story was SO dark and unique. It’s not for the faint of heart. If cyber punk/dystopian dark romance books are your type, you will LOVE this audiobook. The MMC is one of the most possessive characters I’ve read yet. Check the trigger warnings for this one. I’m wishing everyone a great Thursday! The weekend is almost here! What are your plans? #darkromance #dystopiannovels #audiobookreview #fannyducette #calliemoss @darkauthorcal @fannyducette @audible

I recently completed an ALC of Repossess My Heart by @darkauthorcal This book is narrated by @fannyducette Now the narration is chefs kiss! So good! And kept me engaged in the story What can go wrong when you had a FMC who has a heart that is behind payments and needs repossessed? We mix in a Repo man that does some things to our FMC. (Make sure to check your triggers before getting into this book because there is some dark themes) This story reminds me of Silo with the layers and higher ups. As the story progresses, we learn more about the truth and who is who. We learn more about who our FMC and MMC are and their pasts…… There is lot of twist and turns and I didn’t expect some things to happen. Also when I thought the story was over, I was like…. Nope. It’s not done and adds another layer to the story.

Reposess My Heart by @darkauthorcal ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is definitely for my dark romance girlies, because seriously Wow! Wtf is this unhinged masterpiece? 🤣 it was sooo freakin good. It's definitely a dark romance with some dystopian elements and of course, we have our enemies to lovers. I honestly didn't know what I was getting myself into, I just knew it was a dark romance but honestly, going in blind was 🤌🏽🤌🏽 Our MMC, Nine is truly a tortured soul and who doesn't love that about our mmcs? 😅 But also our FMC, Reverie, is also a tortured soul and they were absolutely perfect for each other. Unhinged in the best possible way. Please check your TW before diving into this book!!! Imagine living in a world where if you were to get an organ transplant and couldn't make the payments/credits for it, a Repo man would come and take it back. 👀👀 Reverie, unfortunately had to get a heart transplant when she was young and her mom was the one who was taking care of payments until she passed away. Which in turn, Reverie had to start making those payments and does what she can to survive without being caught by the repo men. Reverie's whole internal monolog was honestly just devastating. She just wanted to end her suffering. Then she meets Nine, and shit gets WILD! Nine is a Repo man and he was on the hunt to find her and k!ll her. There's torture involved, theres noncon in here, kidnapping, and just a lot of murder. BUT SHE LIKES IT. I loved that he would call her a freak and she would call him asshole. 🤣 I laughed way too hard in some of these moments. Nonetheless, watching these two work together and finding love within each other was sooo sweet even if it was super unhinged. The twists and turns are 🤌🏽🤌🏽, the world building is fantastic, and the plot definitely plots! If unhinged and dark is what you like to read, please go read this one immediately so we can talk about it. I listened to the audio narrated by Fanny Ducette aka Tiffany Vanlandingham and yet again, Tiffany brought these characters to life. I could feel the emotions, the anger, and the tension between the MCs. I will definitely be listening and reading this book again.

📚 Repossess My Heart ✍️ Callie Moss 🎧 Narrated by Fanny Ducette ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Let me preface this by saying: read the triggers. Why did Nine keep reminding me of Billy from "Trick ’r Treat"? Every time he mentioned her damn eyes, all I could hear was, “Don’t forget the eyes.” 😂 IYKYK. I loved the premise of the book, it definitely got me with the book blurb. I was a little confused about the world Reverie and Nine live in. Dystopian tends to be challenging for me to visualize. Maybe reading instead of listening would have helped, but I picked this one up specifically for the narrator. In my head, I was getting "Sin City" movie-esque vibes. And I desperately wanted character art! Then there’s Reverie. What a sad freaking life. Her relationship with Nine is a solid 10/10 on the unhealthy scale. Nine, meanwhile? 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩 His desire to terrify Reverie before unaliving her, plus his reaction to how she interpreted what happened between them $exually? DOUCHEBAG ALERT. Girl. RUN. Except... Reverie is a hot mess express, and somehow this man brings her comfort. WTF?! I enjoyed the second half more as Reverie got tougher and learned to hold her own. Like she says: Surviving isn’t always about being stronger. Sometimes it’s about being smarter. I also appreciated that through everything, she maintained her humanity, while Nathan managed to find some of his. My feelings about Nine never really changed. He can call her “sweetling” all he wants. That man is still a walking red flag. 🎧 Fanny Ducette absolutely nails Reverie’s emotions. I would have LOVED this as a duet. Nine needed that rough, gruff voice I had imagined for him. Overall, this was dark, strange, uncomfortable, fascinating, and definitely outside my usual reads. Nine and I are probably never going to be friends, but Reverie? I was rooting for that hot mess. #DarkRomanceReads #DystopianRomance #AudiobookReview #BookstagramReads #RomanceBookReview

Got my hands on the audiobook for Repossess My Heart by Callie Moss and my girl Fanny Ducette DID HER DAMN THING! 🎧🔥 This standalone is absolutely worth the read, but I can't lie... I'm partial to the audio. 👀 A girl is doing everything she can to stay alive and off the radar while a man is tracking her down to collect her heart. And the things this man does to her?! Absolutely CRAZY. 😳 But that ENDING?! Y'ALL. 😭 That freaking ending had me SHOOK. Dark. Twisted. Unpredictable. And definitely one to add to your TBR. 🖤📚 #DatGrlMimsReads #AudiobookReview #RepossessMyHeart
