Flavours of the North 1.0 was more than an event. It was a vision to bring our food, culture, heritage, people, and enterprise together in one beautiful space. From the stories we shared to the traditions we experienced, the food we tasted, and the connections we made, every moment reminded us why preserving our heritage matters. We are grateful to everyone who believed in this vision and helped bring it to life. This is only the beginning. May Allah bless the seed we have planted and allow it to grow into something even greater. DID SULEJA REALLY GIVE ABUJA ITS NAME? 👀 Before Abuja became Nigeria’s Federal Capital, the name already had a history of its own. The connection between the old Abuja Emirate, Suleja and the city we know today is a fascinating part of Northern Nigeria’s history. So, how did a town once known as Abuja become Suleja, while the name Abuja was adopted for the Federal Capital? There’s a story behind it, and it goes much further back than 1976. At Flavours of the North 1.0, we’re bringing these stories to light because our history deserves to be known, understood and passed on. 📅 24 October 2026 📍 Zuma Rock Resort 🎟️ Register here: https://benevolent-strudel-c71180.netlify.app or send a DM to us noww!!!
