TEAM MATTHEWS UPDATE! 💁🏾‍♀️🙎🏻‍♂️

For the past seven years we have called Bournemouth our home. We met here, got married here and found the best of friends and family here!

But at this time we feel that God is calling us into a new season as a couple. So in July we will be moving to London to join the team up at @saint.church. We are so excited to partner with what the Lord is doing up in East London and for what He has in store for us. Thank you @algord.on, @simonrnicholls and @marknelson__ for graciously welcoming us.

Bournemouth will always have a special place in our hearts. We are so grateful for the opportunities we’ve both had at @lovechurchuk to grow, to build community and we want to thank you for being our family for the last seven years.

I’m going to fiercely miss my student family and I know Jamie feels the same about our worship team family. We will always be praying for you and it’s not goodbye forever, it’s definitely see you later. If you want to hang out before we leave, slide in the DM’s 😉

Thank you for following this page and coming on this adventure! I would like to introduce myself. I'm Farida Matthews and I'm your host for this fabulous road trip to the land of Milk & Honey.

Here are three fun facts about me:

1. I'm married to a beautiful human being called Jamie aka the jet fuel in this engine. He keeps me motivated and brings me much joy.

2. I live in a gorgeous beach town called Bournemouth in Dorset. It is stunning and I'm grateful to call it home.

3. I work for a church as a Student and Creative Pastor and I love my job!! My church and student family are the best!

As part of the HTB, St Matt's and LOVECHURCH Student night there will be a chance for you guys to ask any questions in a segment we are calling Grill one Vicar and two almost Vicars 😂😂

It can be any questions you may have around the topics of community, unity and diversity that we will be discussing but also any other questions you may want to bring forward.
