Mahjong and women’s well-being at the same table? Truly what dreams are made of. 💛
This week we were invited to join @ohmymahjong to celebrate their donation to the Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement @womensalzmovement . We love building community around food and mahjong; whether or not you know the people at the table, everyone’s well-being improves while playing.
Hearing @suzannetodd talk about her love of the game, @meganjtrottier share her personal experience with Alzheimer’s, and @mariashriver speak about establishing the Women’s Comprehensive Health & Research Center at @clevelandclinic, in a setting so beautiful it was hard to leave, was a gift.
Beyond grateful to keep meeting new friends through mahjong who share this joy and passion for building communities where everyone belongs and is a force for good. It’s one of many reasons why we love mahjong - and why we LOVE meeting our community there.

Tell me about these sculptures…. @farrahwun always gets me talking. And these sculptures are something I worked on as I was healing from back surgeries. That is why they are “abstracted spines that don’t quite work out”.

Anyone want more unedited behind the scenes of my studio process?

Next time one of those quiet luxury fools reference "colors that occur in nature", I shall send them this.

Beautiful experience with @farrahwun at California's Antelope Canyon Poppy Reserve. So appreciate friends... old and new. I appreciate nature. I appreciate the creator.

Amazing audio by @wisdom.keepers

CDMX kept a little piece of my heart. The people, the art, the food….it was all magic! Time to crush some Duolingo because I will definitely be back!

September round up 🎠

A ‘fit. Captured Gus’ essence. Celebrated Maya. Slowed down to enjoy sunsets. Visited the Jeffrey Gibson exhibit at the Broad. Saw my favorite Aleks. Another ‘fit. Saw my friend’s screening of Crushed.
