👉🏻 There’s a deep truth that most people online never talk about when it comes to this thing called life.

We’re raised in a structured system of going to school, learning information, and preparing ourselves to work hard in our careers. But when you’re finally out on your own building something for yourself, there’s something no one prepares you for that can completely take over your life: your own mind.

For me, it was severe anxiety.

One anxiety attack left me feeling mentally isolated, and intrusive thoughts, existential thoughts, health anxiety, and constant derealization began taking over my life to the point where I felt like I could barely operate.

I remember feeling like my life wasn’t real, living on autopilot, and constantly asking myself, “What’s the point of working so hard if I can’t even experience the freedom, happiness, and peace I’m working toward?”

That’s the deeper reality of severe anxiety. It doesn’t just make you feel “stressed.” It can change the way you experience your entire life and eventually leak into your career, relationships, and ability to enjoy what you’ve built.

I can speak so deeply to this because that used to be me. During the period when I was the most ambitious to build a life I loved, I was also experiencing the most anxiety.

I used to be scared to even leave my room. Now, I’ve moved thousands of miles away from my hometown and built an entirely different life for myself.

For me, therapy and the other approaches I tried didn’t create the change I was searching for. I felt like people could explain anxiety to me, but very few could relate to what experiencing that level of anxiety every day actually felt like.

I believe everything happens for a reason, and now I have the biggest passion in the world for helping men who work incredibly hard for themselves but feel like they can’t even enjoy the lives they’re building because severe anxiety is consuming them.

I can relate to that position so deeply because I lived it myself.

And I’m telling you right now, finally reaching a place where anxiety no longer controls the way you experience your life is one of the greatest feelings in the world.

👉🏻 One panic attack in the past turned into severe anxiety, and that turned into really bad derealization for me, making me feel like I was living life in third person and second guessing my entire reality. I wasn’t just being lazy. I was working hard to take care of my health and become the best version of myself, but I literally felt dr*gged 24/7 because of bad derealization. So I felt like my health was working against me.

I would get so mad because I was ambitious, but derealization was fully controlling my life, and nothing felt real. I felt numb, everything felt meaningless, and I couldn’t even feel the emotion of happiness, even though I should have been happy because I was working so hard for myself, building a life that I should have been able to love.

I see how derealization can take over so many men’s happiness and ability to feel real in their lives. It gets to a point where intrusive thoughts, existential thoughts, health anxiety, and derealization can control your reality so much that you feel numb, you feel like you’re not real, and you feel like you’re living life in third person.

I genuinely feel amazing now that I’m 100% recovered, and I want to be living proof that recovery from bad derealization is possible. In July 2024, I decided to move to Florida, leaving everything I had known behind to explore a new journey. I’d always wanted to live in Florida for many reasons, and while it was a scary jump, I made it.

Not long after, I began coaching, which has been the best experience of my life. Being able to impact others and change lives has been the most God given gift I’ve ever received, and I’m so grateful to do this for a living.

This is what I want to do for the rest of my life, nothing lights me up more than helping other men become the best version of themselves.

Now, I have the opportunity to connect with people who share a similar mindset. One of the biggest challenges of moving to another state to better my life was leaving behind people who no longer aligned with my mission, even though I loved them dearly.

But I was blessed this weekend to spend time with some real head hunters and I plan on using that momentum to better my life and every client’s life. I’m so blessed and grateful for every opportunity, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

If you’re a man in your 20s thinking about taking a chance, I promise it’s worth it. The riskiest thing is staying where you are. Get uncomfortable, take the risk, and go for your dreams ⚔️
