A little workflow experiment with the @meetgreatmany packaging renders. ChatGPT → Blender → Seedance 2.5 → DaVinci Resolve. I connected ChatGPT to Blender to build the animation, then took that motion blocking into Seedance 2.5 with a detailed prompt and visual references. From there, I brought the result into DaVinci Resolve to explore richer lighting, deeper shadows, and softer background gradients. There are still a few mistakes on the packs, but I think it’s a pretty good first test. Having the 3D animation as a starting point gave me more control over the movement—and plenty of room to experiment with the final look. #aiworkflow #packaging

’m slowly starting to put my new portfolio out into the world. Something I haven’t done in… honestly, I don’t even remember how long. I’ve put a lot of my personality into this one, including one thing I’ve wanted to fix for years: I hate reading case studies. You know the ones. The challenge. The insight. The strategic transformation. Seventeen paragraphs explaining why someone made the logo green. I’m not reading that. And I designed the thing. I really fell in love with the way Rebrand presents projects through these beautiful bento-box layouts, so I stole—sorry, was inspired by—the format and decided to remove most of the reading altogether. Instead, every project on my site tells its story through motion and audio. You scroll through the work, look at the pretty things, and I’ll explain what happened, why we did it, and occasionally what went wrong. This is the first one. Great Many. More slowly coming as I finish the site. Which, based on my historical relationship with portfolios, could mean anything. try it www.jorgerieraflores.com

Earlier directions we explored at @farrynheight for True Food Kitchen — and the one I probably had the most fun with. It didn’t make it. This was a discarded route from the early days at Farrynheight. (Yes, we kill our darlings too.) But this one had a vibe. Bold, energetic, a bit loud in the right way. The secondary palette was pulled directly from the food itself — letting the ingredients do the talking instead of forcing color decisions. Simple idea, but it gave everything a fresh, almost alive feeling. The typography leaned into exaggerated ink traps, which made the system feel more human and approachable — less “perfect brand machine”, more something you’d actually want to interact with. It wasn’t the final direction. But sometimes the ones that don’t get picked… are the ones you keep thinking about. This one definitely stuck with me. #branddesign #graphicdesign #farrynheight
