POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Nowhere Land by Ash Morse follows the harrowing journey of a mind trapped inside ‘The Dream Machine’, a reality simulator that becomes a powerful metaphor for the unseen forces that bind, confound and direct our lives and the many deep struggles we face in our journey back to liberation.

It is a story of profound isolation, yet it finds its heartbeat in the universal pursuit of hope.

ASA Judge Brian Henderson Ward touted it as “more complex than Bohemian Rhapsody … a huge theatre production. An outstanding vocal performance … with fabulous harmonies’ saying, ’The musicianship is genius.” It’s the kind of praise that most recordings can only dream of, and as you dig into ‘Nowhere Land’, you soon realise just how impressive it is.

Recorded across five studios with a large ensemble of live musicians, the album is the product of thousands of layers and hundreds of hours of interstate collaboration.

It is a triumphant, reality-bending masterwork that lingers long after the silence returns.

‘A Tribute To The Innocent’ is an independent, contemporary piano, vocal and orchestral composition by Sydney-based Australian Indie artist Ash Morse about the dangers of nuclear war.

A note from Ash:

Merry Christmas, you filthy animals.

Just gonna leave this here.

Shout out to @madcatmarty who made all the food. Yes we ACTUALLY took that photo and he ACTUALLY set spam in gelatine.

And @faru79 for all the design and digital wizardry. If you need a highly stylised, deliciously ridiculous Christmas photo at a very reasonable price, we can recommend him ;)
(Might have to marry into the family though)

So this is first…. But it’s a teaser for the much anticipated family Christmas photo.
This guy was the breakout star of 2025.

And that’s all I’ll say… for now….

A month ago, I rocked up early to a gig everyone had been buzzing about and caught the support act by chance - @thestampsofficial

Within a few songs I was hooked.

The next morning, they came into the studio and we wrote and recorded ‘Maria’ in one day, just hours before they flew back to Perth.

It had that rare, live-take magic you can’t fake - the kind of spark that made me want to start a record label.

So here we are ‘Maria’ by the Stamps out today on Long Life.

Big thanks to @mattjwalters for steering the ship and @communitymusicdistro music team for coming to the table with belief, energy and heart.

#LFG

Big ups the Long Life team:

@dreamtrak - co prod & mix
@joshneeds - engineering
@faru79 - drums & percussion
@paxipaxinos & @out_of_rageous - Photos & visuals
@movingstillsbylilly - cover
@puttingitonwax - mastering
@longlifelonglifelonglife - @freyamarina + Tim & Jacqui
