Okayyyy, now that Essence Weekend is officially over, I can finally breathe. 😂 I wanted to do a little photo dump before I get into the full recap because y’all... this weekend was SO good. From spending time with my Brand Row sistass, discovering new brands, and just being surrounded by so many talented Black creatives... I seriously had the best time The Black Heritage Experience hosted by @firstlinebrands was definitely one of my favorite stops. Great conversations, fun activations, and seeing Eva Marcille in person was the icing on the cake, she is STUNNING. Got to hang out with some of the sweetest creators at the @sproutsocial x @nolacollective Creator House event! 💛 @tamlovestoeat, @k.lan1, @nickistyleshercurves, and @fashartofficials... y’all were seriously the best. The @brwnsugarbabe event was EVERYTHING! The DJ had the vibes right all night, the photo setup was absolutely beautiful, and can we please have a moment for this picture?! 😍 Oh, and they sent everyone home with their newest Privé Collection scent, French Kiss. When a few of @thebrandrow girlies finally make it out of the group chat. We had the best time at the @society18 creator kickoff party—between the photo booth, laughing all night, and all the fun surprises, we definitely had a time! @mielleorganics always has one of my favorite BeautyCon booths! The DJ had me dancing, the decor was beautiful, and I walked away with a little reminder that I didn’t know I needed: I am the moment. A few of my Brand Row sistas. 🥹 I think this might be one of my favorite group photos from the entire weekend because everybody was looking GOOD! Me in my Dominican sister @iamcardib’s living room. 😂🇩🇴 The @growgoodbeauty setup was SO cute, and I already know I’m about to be influenced because I can’t wait to try these products. At the Power of Joy @Disney event, everyone got to pick out a pair of @anwulieyewear sunglasses, and y’all... I fell in love with these yellow frames! 💛 I’m such a neutral girl, so this was definitely me stepping outside of my comfort zone, and I honestly can’t wait to wear them.
