Halfway through the Maratacht summer already! 🌊💙✨

It’s hard to believe we’ve already welcomed three amazing camps to Cape Clear. Camp A, Camp B, and Camp C have brought endless energy, adventure, laughter, and unforgettable memories to the island ☀️

From kayaking along the coastline and exploring sea caves to marine life encounters, island hikes, creative projects, beach cleans, and making lifelong friendships, the first half of the summer has been packed with incredible moments 🛶🪼🌿

A huge thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey so far. Whether you joined us for a week or helped make the camps happen behind the scenes, you’ve helped create a very special summer on Cape Clear 💙

We’re only halfway there, and we can’t wait to see what adventures the second half of Maratacht has in store 🌊✨

Fastnet Lighthouse 🌊🌊🌊

The amazing boat trip out to Fastnet Lighthouse, which is the most Southerly point of Ireland. It really is a marvel of engineering to how they built this so far out to sea. It’s around 8 miles of the County Cork coastline on the mainland and around 4 miles from Cape Clear Island on the last video. Loads more information online about the lighthouse and the building of it all …. I would really recommend this boat trip to Cape Clear island and Fastnet. It really was amazing. 👌🏼🙏🏼🌊🌊🌊

This is a short video around Cape Clear island and it is the most southerly inhabited part of Ireland. With a small population of around 110/120 people it really is a beautiful unique area and so peaceful.

I also found the nicest honey I’ve ever tasted from @fastnetfarm and it is only sold on the small island shop. So if you are there I definitely recommend it. There was even a small distillery but they wasn’t open when we were there.

What you really come for is the walks and the calm of the island and if you had a few days there, it would be an amazing reset from our busy lives away from it all. There is so much beauty around every corner. Hopefully get back to do a proper photographic project as i seen many cool locations. Getting out and researching areas is all part of doing landscapes .. if you don’t have a camera.. use your phone and just have fun 🤩 👌🏼🙏🏼

This was the boat trip to Irelands most Southerly inhabited island .. Cape Clear island.

An amazing day out and not only a stunning boat trip to Cape Clear island, but then also out to Fastnet. Fastnet is actually Irelands most Southerly point and what an amazing piece of engineering I will show in another video.

Since its opening announcement last summer, the more casual accompaniment to two starred dede was always going to be on the ‘must visit’ list. Ahmet & Maria appear to have the magic touch and this was absolutely superb!

Probably over ordered but couldn’t but, given the recommendations speech from Maria’s son Andrew (an absolute natural on the floor), and will most definitely be back to explore the menu even more.

Thank you Maria, Andrew, Sandra and all the team. Lucky lucky Baltimore.

J’ai eu beaucoup de plaisir à faire cette petite vidéo ! Certains d’entre vous souhaitaient voir quelques images de notre séjour à Cape Clear alors c’est avec joie que je vous montre cette jolie île au Sud de l’Irlande. Les abeilles, brebis et vaches que vous voyez sont élevés par mon frère et ma belle-sœur @fastnetfarm, le phoque lui est complètement sauvage 😉
Nous sommes déjà repartis pour de nouveaux horizons du Nord, je vous dis à très vite !
