442” LS7 all wrapped up for @wannabeprerunner ford f150 prerunner. He said he wanted some big power to replace his 418” LS3. So we added some Big block power into a LS to accomplish his goals. A lot of detail goes into these and the way I have a vision to accomplish that is a work of art. Thanks Chris. #moruzziracemotors #racedezert #prerunner

Day 2 of the @c10nationals. Well so much for all the bad luck being out of the way after day 1. On the first lap on the cool down the truck backfired in the intake causing the upper O-ring of the fast 102 intake to blow out. So we got it back to the pits and Aaron started preparing to take the intake off as I took off walking to the vendors area to look for another O-ring. Of course noo e had one and we had some RTV so we put the O-ring back and put some silicon on it. We only had to make 3 rounds at thr end of the day. We had until 2pm to get it fixed. We got it all put back together and fired it up and everything was fine. We then made a few fun run passes on the pit lane drag strip and I couldn't get the new BMW DTC transmission to shift right for it. So then everyone got 3 laps and their fastest lap of the 3 was the time for the class winners in each group. All 3 of my laps the transmission wouldn't shift into 3rd gear and apply power like it should. I had to wait to get on the throttle so the dual clutches would grab and I could then apply the power. The fastest lap I saw was a 44.0 and I ran a 44.0 but that could have been beaten on a last run. So, the weekend was great! The weather was excellent on Saturday! We drove the truck onto the trailer this year so that was a win also, because we have had to be towed to the trailer the last 2 years. That always sucks! Thanks to everyone that helps. Well get the bugs worked out and be ready for next year!!

Hot Rod Drag Week 2026 resurrection … “data logs” - reviewed the 3 logs pulled from the FAST Classic to see what may have happened to hurt the engine… the last run that torched the head gasket actually looks relatively drama free. On Monday’s 10.53@137mph pass it stumbled in 4th gear and this is visible on the log with some slightly lean spikes. Theory is it was low on fuel and briefly started the pump and ran lean …Stay Tuned for updates!
